Here is an article by Peter King on Paraag's influence in draft. This article actually praises him, but it clearly shows that he is involved. If you remember Nolan and Singletary both used him with their draft picks. It's a well known fact.

Well only 6 playoff appearances in 20 is quite justification for fans being pissed about the direction of this team. Paraag maybe the problem. Maybe he's not. But outside of the York family, he has been the only other top executive there for as long as the Yorks have been there, that carries much influence.

Gotta say used to not be a fan of the Yorks. After Eddie D it was total collapse. That said Jed lately keeps getting it correct and deserves props.

"I'm not the coach. I'm not the general manager," York said via Nick Wagoner of ESPN. "They have my authority to put the roster together as they see fit.

I imagine some weakhanded or meddling Owner would have intervened in the JG saga by now. York to his credit letting the football people call the shots.
