New Principle Owner Jed York Thread

We could definitely have a worse owner running the team. I will give credit where credit is due. He gets out of the way and let's the coaches do their thing. Jed does need to put some heat on Shanahan though. I need to see a super bowl win here before I pass away

None of us knows what kind of heat Jed puts on his coaches. He doesn't seem as impulsive as his uncle but that doesn't mean e hasn't spoken to Kyle and John about wanting that SB win. Don't forget, even though he is the president the real final say probably still comes from his mom. She has the money and is the real owner.

I don't know what benefit people think would come out of it. Personally I dread a sale. Who do people think will buy it? Likely to be someone along the lines of Daniel Snyder, then there would really be something to moan about.

Exactly, surprised people haven't blamed the equipment staff also. Jed is nothing like Snyder, Cohan, Sarver and I can go on from different leagues.

It's not Jed's team. His mother owns it. My guess is they won't sell unless Jed sayd he doesn't like running it anymore or until they get the stadium paid off.

If one suggests to sell the team, that implies one thinks that the owner is having a direct influence on the on field team performance. Yet the Yorks have stayed out of Shanalynch's way in every respect, have allowed them to sign or not sign whatever coaches and players they want. In other words, what exactly could a new ownership do that would be better than what the Yorks are doing currently? I can't see anything. Just wanting change for the sake of change isn't actually solving any problems about the team's recent performance.

He is doing a great job as a owner. He isn't Eddie D, but could be worse
