We know Jim was fired but I could argue that they both lied with their signed agreements

What a blanket statement. I'm sure it is always wise to generalize folk. Can't the same be said for Jed's detractors? I won't generalize either side

There's no reason to have the 49er players made available to media personalities that have shown they are only there to twist, distort and instigate. Murphy burned the bridge with his agenda-fueled interview, so freezing him out for a while as a repercussion for it is perfectly fine by me until his "gotcha" tactics take a back seat to actual journalistic integrity.

Jed didn't tell Murphy it was "legally mutual", he told him it was "mutual" and everyone who heard the interview assumed it meant "50/50 agreement". A lie of omission is never the truth.
People can assume whatever they want; their ignorance of the phrase's meaning is just that. Anyone that knows NDA and other legal document language knows that "mutual" is a legal terminology.

That's not at all what I said.
People use agreed to terms because of business NDAs all the time. They are not "lies" in the sense that while they are not completely revealing to the process, they are technically correct. Jim was not fired from a legal standpoint. The agreement to end the contract without further payment or a formal resignation by Harbaugh could only be done with a signed agreement for both parties to walk away, which legally is a mutual parting, and not a firing.
In regards to ignorance, being ignorant is not to imply being a stupid person or anything like that. It just means not having the specific informed knowledge of how these legal matters work, and therefore people unaware of why the "mutual" terminology was used from that standpoint can misinterpret it as being a "lie". Which it isn't, from a technical viewpoint.

Initially I thought it was a great opportunity... possible dream job. As it went on, it was easy to see that my boss micro managed things and was difficult to work for. Wanted everything done her way and i was allowed no creativity. At the end of the summer, she said i could quit or be fired. Family wanted me to get fired and get workmans comp. I could care less about that. I have never had problems finding a job and there's something in me that just says I don't need to be fired. Don't want that going into my next job. So "we mutually parted ways." Which is bull crap.

Tough questions are one thing. Ignorance of terms, and taking statements out of context to suit a silly agenda are another. From what I've read, most on this board do not understand what "class" is, either. Many are still confusing it with snobbery.

Not saying this is exactly what happened but I believe Harbs when he said multiple times that we work at the mercy of our employer??? The guy above you ultimately decides. Jed can have a signed statement but that's how he views it. It's what Harbaugh thought was best as well.
This isn't a bash Jed statement. This is just simply how i view that situation. I don't buy what Jed is saying. Just thinks he wanted it to be mutual so that if Tomsula doesn't work out he can't get ripped for "firing Harbs", he can just say Harbaugh wanted to move on as well.

Fans need a place to discuss ownership. The nature of the comments in the thread is simple a causal function of ownership's actions. There are plenty of pro-Jed posts in here though. That's why it's a discussion. If your wish is a "kiss Jed's ass" thread, I don't think you're going to get it.
Discuss? When are a litany of insults discussion? Insults are more like venting - which I understand but it's not a discussion.
And susweel - I don't think there needs to be a sharing of opinion, I just don't get why a thread of insults is discussion and if the only purpose it serves is a place where people can vent insults what's the point after the same insults have been cycled through for a while.
