August 12, 2015, and I still have not heard a single valid criticism of why Jed is a bad owner. Only opinions about why people think he is a bad public figure (twitter posts, smug interviews, and other meaningless things) and people butthurt about Harboo who don't realize he needed to go.

i am not going to say he is a bad owner because he has done quite well since taking over from his parents...but last year really rubbed me the wrong way. I felt he was pretty disingenuous and was the one behind the "leaks" with JH. I also did not appreciate his interview with Murph and Mac where he kept referencing "winning with class" (whatever the hell that means), and it was a "mutual parting" line and just overall seemed to be very evasive and not truthful with his answers. But so far the results speak for themselves and he has not proven himself to be a bad owner.

Getting rid of a coach after one down season is not something a good owner would do.

true, but i wasn't going by that..i'm going by W/L, new stadium etc nor do i even know that a down year was applicable in this case. i have no idea what was going on behind the scenes that led to JH's departure, so i can't really speak to that. Only thing i can speak to that is what appeared to be a lot of sneakiness and borderline lies....whether it was justified or not to let JH go, i don't like that crap out of a FO.

That's not the reason he got rid of Harboo. A simple analysis of the situation as opposed to regurgitating Twitter posts would tell you that. Whether you agree with the decision or not, the record of the team last year was irrelevant in the decision making.

yeah, i don't think last seasons "down year" was the tipping point that led to a parting of ways.

if you put a blanket on it like you did, sure it sounds bad. but of course alot of things went on behind the scenes we are not privy to. some of those things are just coming out now and I think those things are putting a little dent into the theory floated by some that JH was just a victim
Is this clown even the owner? doesn't his mom own the team? I see him as a bad "owner" CEO what ever he is because he makes idiotic and juvenile decisions. He's more into promoting levis stadium and the business end of football. And knows very little about the X's and O's of football. He surrounds himself with yes men and not smart football people. I also believe Baalke had a problem with Haurbaugh and Jed took sides that is why Haurbaugh is gone. Which shows he puts his own personal feelings ahead of what's good for the team.

If he surrounds himself with yes men and not smart football people then I guess we have cap issues? No. Bad contract control? No. A bad record in FA? No. A bad draft record? No?

So exactly what are these smart football people supposed to be doing that your yes men aren't. Oh, and whilst you are answering, explain why you want an owner who knows the Xs and Os. I thought that was a coaching issue. What owner does? Maybe Jerry Jones and what that gets you is an owner who interferes.

Your final point about Harbaugh is pure invention. You can put that spin on it to try and make York look bad. It doesn't answer the question of why the problems with play calling, player development, in game adjustments etc were simply not getting addressed. Which is in my opinion why Harbaugh had to go.
It always kind of cracks me up when people complain that Jed York was given the team by his Dad for the obvious reason. Eddie Sr. gave the team to Eddie Jr.

It really does crack me up how quickly people forget stuff.

Jed took over a team that was losing. One of the first things he did was promote Scot McCloughan over Nolan. Say what you will about Scot and his demons, but the dude knows talent.

He then fired Nolan in favor of Singletary, a popular move at the time. When it didn't work with Sing, he moved on quickly, promoted Baalke and hired Harbaugh. How'd that work out?

Hey, how much success did Eddie, Carmen Policy, or John York have getting a new stadium built?

Jed got the team back to prominence, got the stadium built....and in one offseason he's an idiot again. Sorry if I don't downshift that fast.

Nobody wanted or needed Harbaugh anymore. We have a coach now that is likable. We have a GM that will drop the hammer on you, but then show compassion and work to help you become a better person. We have a new, state of the art stadium that is phenomenal. It even has a green roof. Plus, you don't have to worry about ear splitting noise, as well as all the riffraff from Candlestick. We will host a Super Bowl! 13 million in cap space right now means we are also fiscally responsible. Things are looking pretty damn sweet .

The roof shouldn't be greener than the field lol

- Instead of firing Nolan he wasted another season with Nolan getting demoted instead.

Sorry but jury is still out on Baalke. He has made several very questionable moves in free agency and the draft. Seriously, how many picks is he going to keep wasting on injured players?

He hired Singletary because it was easy and cheap.

Jed hired Harbaugh. Unnamed sources claim Jed was reluctant and had to be talked into it by his advisors. Who knows if that's true. What we do know is that Jed, the spoiled turd clearly prefers yes men. Harbaugh isn't a yes man. After Harbaugh led this team to 3 STRAIGHT NFC CHAMPIONSHIPS our little fat f**k of an owner spent the offseason undermining his coach. Leaking bullcrap to national reporters in an effort to turn fan favor against Harbaugh.

That motherf**ker helped destroy our season. Tough to find another example of an owner pulling that s**t:

So he fires Harbaugh, lies to the media and fans about it then clumsily steps in last minute just as the Niners were about to Hire Denvers OC as Hc with a silly demand that the HC fire fangio and name Tomsula DC. The coach told Jed to f**k off and walked.

SF then went with plan B. Named Tomsula head coach. After an embarrassing search for a new oc and Dc the niners were forced to promote internal coaches instead cuz all the external candidates were not interested in this circus.

So now we have the backup plan HC and discount coordinators.

Harbaugh brought this team back to elite status. Made it much easier to get a stadium approved. And what did we end up with?

A field that is always s**tty. Half the Stadium is too hot and LOTS of empty seats during games.

Jed can go f**k himself.

If you're going to believe everything you read especially from an "unnamed source" your going to have a long season, we don't know what went down behind closed doors. For all we know it might be Harbaughs camp leaking all those stories, some players spoke out tho and said things like " Harbaugh wore out his welcome " or things like " dumb techniques and dumb scheme " to me that speaks volume than reading what the " Unamed source " says. I'm not a fan of Jed but I do give him props for building that stadium, his uncle tried so hard to get it done in SF but never prevailed...I don't like that it's in Santa Clara but that's better than what Oakland and the Chargers are going through.
