Yes. That's pretty obvious. Btw, you should be thanking Jed for only going as far as Santa clara. It was san francisco that didn't want a new stadium built in the city not the other way around. At that point, Jed could have moved the franchise anywhere. There's places where he could have built the stadium for a whole lot cheaper. There's also places that could have been a whole lot more profitable. But no, he did what he could to keep the Niners in the bay area.

Yes, but Hemet turned him down!

What about Sacramento??

Hemet North? LOL!

Seriously, there wasn't a better place to put the new stadium than where it is...easy access from SF, Oakland, San Jose and South Bay area. The only folks who really had reason to hate the move were North Bay fans, but it's not that much further and if they want to avoid SF they could go through Vallejo and Oakland, crossing at Hayward. I hate teams moving out of their cities but SF was being idiotic in negotiations. They learned their lesson and attracked the Warriors back.

Given time all the noise will settle down.

Hold that - Given "Wins" and most of the noise will settle down.

This is a football forum, obviously. A place where people can discuss football. And the owner of the team is part of the football discussion. In particular where he or she impacts upon the team.

However, it seems to me that just screaming abuse at the owner and presenting invented tales as if they were fact have no place here. I wonder about the age of some posters, sometimes.

I don't think that the physical appearance of someone, in this context, has any relevance at all and I wonder at the motive for some posters repeated references to the owner being a "fat f#ck".

If you want to post abusive and childish comments about anyone in the team from the owner downwards, there are sadly many places on the net where you can do that. I don't think that this should be one of them. This is a place to talk football.

I suggest that those who are unable to discuss without including offensive comments should read the rules.

This is a Jed York Thread. Obviously this thread is for discussing Jed both good and the bad. So I'm not sure what your point is on that.

I posted specific reasons I'm unhappy with Jed. Giving an accurate physical description that just so happens to be unflattering is abusive? I knew the f bomb would be censored/edited so didn't think it was a big deal.

I'm glad you brought up reading the rules. Rule #1 includes "attack the idea and not the poster". When I post my opinion and another poster responds "he's delusional!!" Is that attacking the idea or is that attacking the poster? Peace!

So posters can't be accurate

The guys he recruited are Freshman..... You can't judge him after 1 year. He needs 3 - 4 minimum until that Michigan team is really "his." Plus he came in half way through the recruiting process this year with a late start. So really 4 minimum years IMO until you can tell what he has a Michigan. No doubt it will be better than what they had before.

He's gonna be fine imo. His teams usually over-achieve (unless someone in the management is trying to sabotage the season for personal vendetta).

HAHAHAHA!!! THE RAT!

People are under some assumption that Jed is like that dad from Bill & Ted who smooths a $20 to Baalke to go to the arcade, while he f**ks the team in Baalke's bedroom.

I shan't repeat what I said but if I have to suspend you to get your attention, happy to do that. Read Rule #5.
