Wow what a true fan

Because being a real means putting up with mediocrity and being satisfied. Okay "true fan".

No team wins every year, some teams never sniffed a SB, BUT THEY STILL SHOW SUPPORT AND GO TO GAMES

so there are only 75k fans per week?

You aren't a real fan unless there is a YouTube video of you beating up an opposing teams fan in the parking lot

A lie. He fired him because they ended up hating each other and couldn't work together any more.

With that toxic atmosphere Harbaugh would have never again been successful in SF. That ship sailed in 2013. Last year was a waste. He should have been fired after 2013, because it was always gonna be downhill from there.

Yeah tell that to Bengals fans all these years. Why the hell should I waste my hard earned money to pay for an overpriced product? That doesn't make any sense. Being loyal is a two way street. The front office is cheating the fans out of their money. If you want to be a moron, waste over $300 to see the 49ers get blown out on their own field go ahead.

And yeah teams don't win every year. Teams also don't get rid of a winning head coach and his staff because he has a strong ego. If winning was so important Jed would have simply dealt with it.

if you dont drink beer at the Niners stadium to put $$$ in Jeds pocket, you are not a fan
So have we figured out "apology" criteria yet... does getting the ever-loving s**t kicked out of you in 2 straight road games = a lackluster performance in a loss on Thanksgiving night?

I kid...

Jed is the one that employs Harbaugh though. If he hated it so much why did he even finish out the season? This is the same family that sacked Mariucci. Stop believing the garbage "mutually parted ways" line that Jed has been feeding you. Christ. Harbaugh spilled the beans in his interview with Tim Kawakami and stated that he wasn't going to stay somewhere where he wasn't wanted. Harbaugh wanted to be here. He was getting a ton of credit for the turnaround, Jed couldn't handle it. Not once during the whisper campaign did Jed state "Harbaugh is our head coach and I support him". Not once. After the Super Bowl Jed didn't even pay Harbaugh because he wasn't a "super bowl winning" coach. Which was stupid. He should have been the highest paid coach in football if he wanted to at that point. He turned this franchise around.

Fired after 2013? A 12-4 season? Yeah okay buddy lol.

No need to name call or put down Jed York, lets just boycott all home games...

Can people stop bringing this up like some sort of realistic solution. Unless you're expecting tens of thousands to just eat their tickets, all you're going to get is a bunch of away fans filling up the stadium instead. Eitherway the ownership's revenue keeps rolling due to all the season ticket holders and PSL's.

In the end, there's no way for the fans to affect the bottomline of the ownership in any meaningful way, I suspect that the pressure for any changes will come as a result of Jed's own ego, having his friends poking fun at him and clowning on him over the struggles that the franchise is going through.

True,
So in essence the money has been spent already because of season tickets holders, So perhaps there will be a mass exodus of fans not renewing there tickets next year and opposing teams taking over the stadium week in and week out this year ...
NINERS home games are not the place to be this year, I'll take my money on the road ... Expect a lot of packers fans next week

Wow what a true fan
This true fan is still going to games, just on the road my friend in fact I'll be in Seattle this year I hope they don't hang 40 on us ....
Also do you recall what Dodger fans did a few years ago when that idiot frank McCourt ran that franchise to the basement? Fans can make an impact

Lol everyone in the world knew harbaugh was brash and had a big ego when we hired him. It wasn't some surprise. There's a reason harbaugh ass didn't even hit the curb. Multiple college and pro teams were licking their chops to get him and they knew his ego. Guy was a winner plain and simple and the front office underminded him all season in 2014

Just look at the colts this season to see an example of what happens when a FO creates uncertainty about the HC

So bengals fans dont show up to games ?

hey buddy, cause you can't afford to go to games doesn't give you the right to tell others how to support our team. Maybe this team is not for you ?

I'm not saying Harbaugh wasn't a good coach. I'm saying the relationship deteriorated beyond the point of being rescued. It was never going to return to the 2011-13 success in that environment. Whether one blames Harbaugh's chaotic intensity or York/Baalke's inability to handle it anymore, it's what happened.

And, yes, in retrospect I would rather have avoided the toxic 2014 season altogether. I'm not saying it would have been more successful or rational, but rather that amputating earlier can prevent rotting and gangrene (aka 2014).

The 90s Cowboys had a similar parting (Jones and Johnson) and because they parted ways before having a toxic season (via Johnson's resigning) they were able to salvage a few more good years out of it all. It happens.

I guess Bob Kraft should fire Bill cause of Spygate and Deflategate. Oh wait he is an owner that has his coach's back no matter what. I guess our owner knows something Kraft doesn't. God forbid the coach you hire is strong willed and does things his way.

Dallas has done nothing since they fired Johnson. If you think the 95 Cowboys had anything to do with Switzer and Jones you are delusional
