When you lose, people lose interest. Ticket sales drop, merchandise sales drop, prime time games are non existent, and you deal with constant media bashing. The franchise won't retain its value if we are bottom feeders.

The Clippers sold for like $2 billion dollars after being a bottom feeding team for much of their existence. There is no amount of losing that could drop this franchise value enough for it to make a big difference. There is a new stadium and the market will always be desirable, that is what matters most.

Merchandise and ticket sales are split equally among all 32 teams, so one team struggling is meaningless. Most of the teams as a whole would have to lose money for it to make a difference.

Ticket sales also won't drop due to season ticket holders, any tickets that 49ers fans won't use, opposing fans will use. If there is any sort of drop in football revenue, they'll just schedule more non-football events at the stadium, soccer games and concerts and monster truck rallies, it'll be grand.

The money generated by sponsorships, television deals and ticket sales—the same revenue source that is disclosed by the Green Bay Packers—is taxed through a for-profit organization owned by the 32 teams, called NFL Ventures, not the actual NFL League Office. This revenue is split between the 32 teams and players under the rules of the most recent 2011 collective bargaining agreement (CBA).

Challenge accepted.
Tim Rattay did better in the dark years than that performance.

Add to it we had no depth, that 2004 roster looked like a expansion team roster. This roster still has way more talent but yet we stink

Won't matter he will just block you, so much for accountability
Perhaps those fans living near the head quarters can picket? As much as he doesn't like being embarrassed it may be interesting.

What a b***h
Just met someone (CEO for a company) who said they could introduce me to Jed. I said yes please, but he probably won't like me after I let him know what I think.
