Just leave them alone and cheer for your team. Stop being shellfish and share the ride.

I always ask people if they're ready to finally root for the best franchise in the NFL lol. I'm trying to build this fan base up until no order team has fans. I'll take some heat for recruiting some new bandwagon fans but man it's awesome to see new fans, make people switch teams or see a diehard fan of another team (e.g. The Raiders) give us props.

I guess I am considered a bandwagon fan. I have never gone to a home game but one day I will make the trip. I do however go see them whenever they come to play in the mid atlantic. I was born just south of Philly and currently reside in Delaware. I have been a fan since I was 6-7 years old. Jerry Rice is my all time favorite player.
When people debate about who the GOAT is, I have to remind them that the GOAT isn't a QB. There is only one GOAT and that is Jerry Rice. Other receivers have and will continue to break his records but not one receiver will ever own them all. What QB has ever come close to owning all of the passing records? Superbowl's are nice but they are a team effort and not really an individual accolade.

Fans just need to be better educated to get loud on defense and quiet down on offense. Is that so hard? I blame the stadium. Do they not have flashing signs on the big screen telling them what to do?
Admittedly, I haven't been to Levis in a while, so I don't remember. I should probably go again before the ticket prices soar like Warriors games

Best regards to Mr WooLick senior, but I think there is one further point about bandwagoners which is being missed in this thread. Anyone who started supporting the team between 1999 and 2010 deserves your Father's respect. With a brief burst in 2001-2, we were terrible. A bandwagoner, in my opinion, is someone who taps into a team because they are enjoying success. With the strong implication that, when things get bad they will bail out.

I was watching the NOLA game, with my son playing toys in the living room. On the Saints last TD, he turned to me started jumping up and down, saying haha my team won, your team lose. At 5 years old, playfully giving me s**t over my team losing lol.
I was too stressed out, until Gould kicked the game winner. My son came up next to me on the coach. Gave me the sad face and said, I want my team to win... So I said, but your team did win!, your team is the Niners right... they won!. No more sad face. Went back to playing with his toys.
I got the worst bandwagoner in the house

I think it's more that the casual fan doesn't care about defense as much as offense. So they get loud on offense cause they're excited. On defense they are probably texting, on tinder or complaining about the new ghostbusters trailer.

I was joking. I am sure my dad has never used the term. He is about the team, not the fans and he isn't judgy.

The really funny thing is that when my wife and I were at the game. Saints fan were calling us band wagoners, but they couldn't name more than 5 players on their team.

New fans are always welcome. But its sweeter when you went through the Tomsula mess and stuck with the team. It isn't just winning, but its having a real franchise QB and a good head coach.

I bet they were Brees, Thomas, Kamara, Lattimore, Jordan.
