Who cares?! I just wanna see them win a super bowl

not sure anyone would willingly banwagon a team who losses big games in heartbreaking fashion that the mainstream media belittles every chance they get

Yeah that's a good point.

I hate hearing from rival fans that this fanbase is bandwagon, yet they'll also never give us credit for being a powerful fanbase. You think the Giants or Seahawks are taking over another stadium ever??

They did that because it's in CA. A lot of bay area people live in southern CA. Many were local.

I was getting a pizza and there was a long wait. My family were waiting for me at a table. The guy behind me was wearing a 49er jersey, and I in my 49ers cap. We started talking and talking all things 49ers. We finally got to the counter after a half hour, shook hands and went on. My family watched the whole scene and asked how I knew the guy. My reply was I just met him, we're 49er fans.

Not nearly taking over a stadium though like the CA one. Many more fans here.
