More or less yeah IMO. He's come back real determined, in great shape, still extremely talented, and he's already bought into Harbaugh's program and is building good chemistry with Alex. Alex has never had someone like Moss to throw to, and Moss knows how to get open and has dominated in a WCO before.

It would be awesome if he steps right in and takes it. Crabtree as a #2 is much more attractive, and for that matter, Manningham as a #3. With the rookie 1st rounder in the wings.
Plus Vernon, Walker, Gore, Hunter, James, ...
CHAMPIONSHIP!!!
-oh wait, offseason

It could be that Alex is a bit "star struck" and thus is throwing to Moss more often. I think it'll have to wait until padded practises begins to see wether or not Moss still has the motivation and skill set to get open against a good secondary.

I hope all so, we've been without a true threat at WR for soooo long. even if he can give us half of what he did for the patriots, it would be an improvement.
GO NINERS! Where did you get that smiley?? AWESOME!

I think Chris Carter dissing Randy Moss has been motivation for Moss to excel. When he's on he makes it appear so easy. I believe the offense explodes with Moss setting the tempo early on.

Randy is a Future HOF like T.O.
They will eventually get the #1 status on a team. They just bring that much to the table.
When Owens first came to the Bengals, no one expected that Carson's #1 would be T.O. after all those years working with OchoCinco. But even Chad knew what was up and quickly accepted his Robin role.
This doesn't mean that Crabtree will be looked at as a 2nd string WR, heck he will probably get more looks now (if Alex finally starts going through his progressions).

Moss has more rust to get off then the others, so the faster he gets into practice mode the quicker he can get into game mode come the time.

He wont get more looks....last year he was the only option and had a monopoly for a lot of the season, wont happen this year.

Moss having a year off isn't the worst thing. He should be 100% healthy and it seems he has stayed in pretty good shape. His work ethic on if he wants to play is the only thing people question. He still has the skills and has always been a great team mate. Now, this is his last chance. If he doesn't work hard, he will get cut and never play again. Moss is going to resurrect his career like Favre did with the Vikings in 2009.
