Stop the run, make Alex blah blah blah this would've been more accurate in 2009

I think the Ravens actually accomplished it last season.
ya those days are done

harbaugh is and has always been a run first coach but he is not stubborn like sing if the run isnt working he has a plan B and we will pass and alex is certainly capable of picking apart most if not all teams

But only after the Niners had like 3 days to get prepared between games.

Well if you want to look for an excuse, sure, lol. But the Ravens did take away the run and Alex didn't have a very good day, and we got an L.

The formula is cliche, but it's proven to work.

This + a better intro. Very nice, Agree with everything but I'd give the lions the edge with WRs.

Really? I'll admit CJ is better than any of our WR's, but he is not better than ALL of them. Don't think Burleson or Young would even make our team.

How is only having a few days an excuse? You think gameplanning and rest during a week is overrated or something?
Thanks Gang! As always I really appreciate the feedback! Even if I pick the Niners to lose, you guys treat me with the utmost respect! Its good just to talk football with fans without the fluff and flashiness of national media..It just proves my point that fans just want to hear how will my team win/lose this week. Like Dragnet...just the facts

I think gameplanning and rest are definitely crucial! I'm just looking at it strictly from a gameplanning perspective. Would the results have been different if the 49ers played that game home? That we can only speculate.

did you watch the game

alex didnt even have time to pass ( i think we had like 8 sacks that game)

its clear gameplanning and travelling affected them harbaugh was pissed at the nfl

and if you think that formula works please watch more niner games you are thinking of the 2010 sing ran niners

Yes I did watch the game.
Anyways, here's Gore's rushing yards for the 3 losses last season...

47 yards vs Cowboys = L
39 yards vs Ravens = L
72 yards vs Cardinals = L

As homer as I am, I still refuse to believe the this years offense is unstoppable. They still have to prove it against top tier defenses.

Bottom line is, the most logical formula to stopping the 49ers offense is still "stop the run and make Alex beat you". Don't get all offended now....I'm just sayin, it's still relevant.
nicely done. I enjoy watching these football game plans.
