What to do with Colin Kaepernick???

if alex was 11/17 116 yards with 0 TD you would call him to be benched

you forgot to mention the rushing TD
Even when Colin was struggling, I was still impressed. I honestly don't know how people can accept Alex Smith after all these years with the ways that he's played (even this season) and are already trying to knock Colin.

Took some time but Alex is coming into his own; runs Harbaughs and Romans offense to a t.

Alex never throws the ball past 5 yards in the air. That was the least impressive 18/19 performance in history. 3 passes went past 10 yards and one would have been INT if not for his own guy tipping it away. Alex is okay, but will never be top 10QB. Colin is better right now and has potential to be all time great. And not scared to throw down field.

Not sure where people got the idea that Jim H wanted Dalton. There might be articles or rumors about it but they are just RUMORS.

I doubt JH will come out before the draft honestly stating which QB they want to pick and when.

I doubt they will state which QB they wanted to draft instead AFTER the draft too.

So, its moot point to keep hating on CK and saying JH wanted Dalton. We will never know unless u worked with JH and / or were in the draft room during that draft day!

No one is hating on CK. Harbaugh only personally saw two QBs on their pro workout days and had two QBs come in for a private workout. Those two are CK and Dalton. These are facts and not RUMORS.....

Peter King WAS in the draft room and did report day of that it was CK that JH wanted over anybody else

Blind just blind
If ur ok with average then ur not okay with me. Alex will never be more than a B- qb. Everytime he throws deep the ball is out of bounds-thats because he is scared. When a play is as designed then he is ok, but as soon as he has to go to option 2 or improvise-he is a lost puppy. Alex has ZERO football instincts. Maybe he is too smart for his own good. But i dont want to settle for a qb that his own coach calls Non-Functional unless everything is perfect

This!

as i stated in another thread alex is just under 50% on throws that travel over 20 yards (on around 20 attempts)

if any of you actually believe alex is lost when looking through progressions my conversation is over with you guys because either youre not watching alex play or you have no idea what youre talking about and he didnt say non functional unless everything is perfect

he says he is nonfunctional till he completely learns teh offense

and if you want to use that then you might as well say the next thing once he learns the offense he is a dynamic player

ok?? average?

as of now statistically he is top 10 in pretty much every category as effiency goes he is top 3 in qb rating and YPA both used to measure how well qb throws the ball

he is also #1 in compleition %
ck needs to go back to the bench
Are you KIDDING? JH hand picked this kid. JH and Baalke were willing to trade up to the end of the 1st round to get him but the price was to steep. Rather you like it or not, he is being groomed to be the QB of the future. JH likes his QB athletic and accurate who can win games. Kaep seeing the field more then he did last year. By design. Alex is basically the stop gap QB while JH grooms Kaep. Look at how they structured Alex's contract if you need more evidence. I like Alex but I doubt he finish's his career with the Niners. I think Kaep can take over as soon as next season.
