If the stupid mistakes get fixed I will be happy. I still see a lot of holes that need fixing. That stupid diamond formation is a waste.
a waste???? you need to check Bellicheck's comments about it and the read option, and how you have to defend it on every play or you could easily get burned for a 50 yard run. Its such a waste that all if not most of the other teams with a qb with a skillset like ours are running some variation of this offense, yea your reaching now bro, sounds like your waiting for a huge failure so you can say "seeeeee, I told you I was right"

Before tonight, I had the Packers game (from week one) as the most substantial/best win of the season; this one takes the cake. People were tweeting after the game how nobody had ever seen Bill Belichick as pissed off/owned since before he even starting coaching the Pats.
The time-out we took before Brady was possibly going to pull off one of this tricky-dicky play-action fakes, and the ensuing tantrum (which followed) really showed just how f**king much our D was in 'his head' throughout most of the game.
-But there was so much respect, you watch the end of it again and you'll see Jim & Bill not just shake hands, but embrace eachother for about 20 seconds, haven't seen another coach do that since (of course) his brother, John, at Thanksgiving. This game felt like a 'passing of the torch' type of deal.

i am not sure what your end point is here?
do you want alex back? Do you want roman fired? etc
just get to the point
We aren't sustaining drives and the errors that many are ignoring are the sole reason for that. 6 drives were killed today because of errors from multiple players. While many were blaming the D for the issues the D played amazing and covered for numerous errors by causing lots of turnovers. The turnover ratio has not been great this year and I dont expect that kind of performance every week. We have had issues for sometime now with the O not moving the ball and I still see them. Without the turnovers we only put 14 points on the board, I'm still worried we aren't doing enough to move the ball.
I dont see how 180 rushing yards and 4 passing tds of 25 yards or more qualifies as not moving the ball. Not every team scores on every drive. The telling stat is that we converted 5 third downs to new england's 2, and we scored when we needed to score. You can nitpick if you want but its obvious that this offense and this team is going in the right direction
What I see is a lot of bleed-over from the criticism of Alex not scoring more points last year against the Saints when he had a 5-TO cushion. As a guy who's been an Alex sympathizer I understand the frustration, wanting to hold Kap to the same ridiculous standard that Alex was held to at times...I think it's time to let it go and enjoy the ride. This was a big win, we could be rounding into form right in time for the playoffs and I think we have something special here.
did our team play a perfect game? no, we still made some mistakes, and didn't capitalize on some opportunities. However, we still got a HUGE win in the house of a team that has been almost unbeatable there. I love our team, and am so proud of them. This is one of the biggest wins in recent years. We as fans should celebrate it and enjoy it.
Back to Back 10 Win seasons!!!

LOL just read on Jed York's twitter that after Brady tied the game up 31-31, he threw a water bottle at the wall so hard people in the other boxes heard it. -Hahaha this guy has a temper just as bad as his uncle Eddie!

What do you expect Bellicheck to say? We scored 0 points out of it and it has actually cost us a game. Gimmick formations are stupid.

LaMichael James looked good on some plays. Couldn't turn the corner on some. Little swing passes as he builds up speed seem to do the trick.
I am glad we won, but i am in awe of the Pats' HC. Made adjustments and boom we were sweating it out. Love to see these two team in the SB. .

Stayed in bounds late in the game.

I like games like this because they have the intensity of a playoff game with a little less weight to them. Kaep has to work on those fumbles when taking a snap under center. Granted he didn't ever take snaps anywhere but the shotgun in college so I cut him some slack. Needs to iron that out before the playoffs though. Winning back to back this week and next will be a huge statement about him as a starter. Lamicheal looks to be coming into his own as well. I am really happy with how this team played despite missed opportunities and key mistakes. The fact that they won despite that and stopped Brady from mounting a momentum changing comeback says a lot.

Question to CK:
Q: Crabtree is consistently your most targeted receiver. Is there a reason for that?
CK: He's open.

I am actually curious to see what the power rankings look like tomorrow. What with us being #5 everywhere and the Pats #1. I bet you Denver takes #1 and we take #3 behind some other team. Probably the Pats since that is how those idiots usually do it. The Falcons are the phoniest #1 seed there has been in a long time btw.
