Great game! Miserable first half for us Patriot fans and miserable second-half until the end for you 49er fans. Your defense is stout! As I mentioned in an earlier post I felt this would be a slugfest similar to Mickey Ward versus Arturo Gatti and it sure was last haymaker thrown Essentially won the game.

The 49ers are more than for real the best team in the league as of this morning. Good luck through the rest of the season especially at Seattle this week and I hope to see you guys one more time this year! :-)
Props for showing back up. You guys have a great offense. I didn't think anyone could do that to our defense. Great classic game!

I shan't be disappointed if your team doesn't make it!

But don't be a stranger, and good luck in other games.

Before tonight, I had the Packers game (from week one) as the most substantial/best win of the season; this one takes the cake. People were tweeting after the game how nobody had ever seen Bill Belichick as pissed off/owned since before he even starting coaching the Pats.

The time-out we took before Brady was possibly going to pull off one of this tricky-dicky play-action fakes, and the ensuing tantrum (which followed) really showed just how f**king much our D was in 'his head' throughout most of the game.

-But there was so much respect, you watch the end of it again and you'll see Jim & Bill not just shake hands, but embrace eachother for about 20 seconds, haven't seen another coach do that since (of course) his brother, John, at Thanksgiving. This game felt like a 'passing of the torch' type of deal.

Was it 20 seconds, seemed shorter to me, but there's respect between those HCs...don't expect that one bit in Seattle though.

As for Brady's spiked ball tantrum, how that isn't a delay of game or unsportsmanlike conduct penalty I'll never know.

Im sure it got talked about earlier, but that hands to the face penalty on Boone was BS! It should have been a face mask penalty on Wilfork for grabbing Kaps face. That was a 25 yd swing.

I don't think the Goldson hit should have been 15 and the Brown tangled feet either which was like 65 yards in penalties that shouldn't have happened. That helped them out a lot.

The Goldson and Brown flags were bad, but at least somewhat debatable. The call on Boone and Simultaneous no call on fat vince were black and white.
Brady tantrum after the timeout might have been the best part of the game. f**king child!! Hahaha
The PI on Brown was f**king b******t. Their feet got tangled and Lloyd (at least I think it was Lloyd) fell down.
Someone give me a run down how this thread was through out the game..lol.....were there alot of crazy posts with the craziness of the game?. I was at a sports bar, and couldn't follow it. :(

so what about that Walker fumble, it looked like he never established possession and "made a football play"... i couldn't hear Jim and Colinsworth, but did they make a big deal about that miss call?

but again, someone give me a run down of this thread, I know it must've been fun here.

edit- oh I wish I could find the page on here, the moment Ginn did his little hopping thing after the ball almost touched him (imo, it looked like it didn't)... it was hilarious and frustrating at the same time.... I screaming like "WHY THE f**k are hopping around for like you F'd up... you better play it off!!!"

The PI on Brown was incidental contact and not PI that was BS. The fumble on Walker was not a fumble but an incomplete pass. The Niners battled the elements, the Pats, and the refs, and still WON!
Is Justin Smith's elbow okay?

each time i dog the team and pick them to get beat, they win so i will stay in that mind set! i am very happy I was proven wrong last night as i was sure we were going to make mistakes and give the pats lots of extra chances. i should stop doubting our defense even though I was upset the coaches let off the gas for a while last night on defense which gave the pats momentum. aside from the offensive line and possible penalties i did not have to many concerns about ck and thank god the coaches allowed him to pass the ball which he does very well . the ability to move in the pocket is something not seen and much needed since garcia. i dd not think we were playing good football coming into sunday and we were not . i thought we were struggling in key areas and we were. posters have tried to tell me the nfl is pretty odd this year and our team is just hard to figure. i also need to keep in mind that this team does seem to play thier best in prime time games. yep, when i look back on my pre game thoughts before the bears and pats they seem pretty foolish now and i am more than ok with looked foolish today.
