Should we let Nike "go for it" on a new niner uniform?

Minimum change Nike can do in 2014 (this complies both with the 5 year mando waiting period the NFL mandates before a team can change uniforms-- Niners redesigned in '09; and coincides with the move to the new stadium):
- fix the sleeve stripes
- go back to the Quentin Caps "49ERS" logo
- team goes back to white-dominant cleats
- maybe the striped socks return
Preferably any alternate uni worn for a couple of games should based off of the 1994 throwbacks or 1962-63 uniform which are distinct enough from the normal red & gold unis, yet still classy and classic looking.

For what good reason - save the money and use it on resigning players or fan appreciation days.

Every single 49ers uniform worn for each season in their history:
http://www.uniformdatabases.com/49ers.html
(as you can see, these two:
...are the only real standouts from the non-red & gold "classic" 49ers uniforms of the 40's-early 60's, everything else is too plain-looking....and yes, its still TOO SOON to consider ever reviving the 1996-2008 unis )

yeah, let's just be like the pro version of the oregon ducks and change our uniform every game. such stupid question. do you realize how hard it was to go back to the classic look and now you want to change it or even consider the thought to do so? never never never change our classic look. do not listen to nike and their marketing ploys.

Most of my life the 49ers had those crappy maroon jerseys. The only Super Bowl I remember was with the white pants. Never was a huge fan of the '94 look. When the 9ers brought out their throwback look a few years ago it was striking to me how much better the look was than anything else I remember seeing them in. Classic is best.

Not sure if you're serious, and can't decide my own opinion. I have been staring at the gif for 5 minutes trying to absorb the different colours and now my brain is melting!

Ninervelli, this is the Cardinal red we used to wear,
This was the 09 Reebook uniforms
This is the current Nike uniform
Nike didn't go back to the Cardinal red. Lighting plays a major difference in how the uniform looks (compare the pic of Alex in the Saints game vs Gore). It's the same red.
Dr. Bill, you're only allowed, per league rules, to wear an alternate uniform for two games out of the season, so your idea wouldn't work.
You have no idea how glad I am that Nike got the contract, their uniform design is leagues ahead of what Reebok was doing. Sure, there's some things they messed up on (Seattle, the collars on some teams, see the Bills for example), but everything they did was with the NFL team's approval, so blame the teams.
