Not surprised. It was between him and Medlock. I'm good with this. I know a lot of ppl here don't like Cundiff, but besides the FG he missed in the Championship game against the Pats last yr (32 yds) he was solid for the Ravens that whole season. Whether he is the outright starter going into the 1st rd of the playoffs is unknown, but at least we have a decent backup plan if Akers continues to struggle.

this is just a weird situation....2 kickers on the roster now? both kinda suck, I'm almost more confident in Akers honestly who isn't bad inside 40, I say just keep doing what we did against AZ and go for it on 4th down if it's a choice between doing that or a long ass FG try

I want an entire scouting team devoted to searching the nation for the best kicker and spending a 4th round pick on him. This kicking competition is something out of an Adam Sandler movie.

this may sound weird but I would be fine if we used a 2nd on a kicker, make it a priority IMO.
