Hearst was the RB I idolized as a kid. He was just a hella tough ass dude and a workhorse. Another Niner that shoulda had a ring.

Hearing his name always brings back fond memories of 1998 in particular. But I'll always appreciate how hard he fought to come back and be a solid back from 01-03 as well.
This may sound blasphemous but his 1998 season has him sitting at #1 in my all time favorite 49er running backs

I met him at a Blockbuster Music when he was a 49er (yeah that long ago). He gave me his autograph, I don't know what I did with it.
