We trade the leader of our team b/c at the time he wanted to play for a contender.
2-3 months later, we are next year, I wish he was still a Niner.

We traded him because he wasn't acting like a leader off the field. The chemistry in the locker room has been great with or without him. Perfect storm for Kyle and Lynch to set a standard of keeping s**t in house and Bowman got what he wanted. Too bad we going to be good again. Bo missed out.

Such a huge disappointment. Especially that super selfish, bitter interview he did early in the year. He was supposed to be a veteran leader. Instead he left like a chump. He must really have been blinded by selfish pride to not see that special chemistry that they were building, even before Garoppolo.

It was time to move on for both parties. Bowman wanted to be on the field for all downs and for us he wasn't going to be part of the future. The 49ers are in a youth movement and are building for the future. i hope Bow lands on a good team next season.

It's been already said, but Bo still considers himself a 3 down backer. The coaches and film say otherwise. THAT's why he's not here anymore.

Love Bowman, but he isn't the same player he once was. He may have been able to get a lot of tackles last year, but he missed a lot more, and can't cover to save his life. Remember that great play he made to close out the Stick? Well, he can't make plays like that anymore. I wish him well, but if he's your best linebacker on the field then your defense is in trouble.
