Such a great niner. So much heart, so much passion, the way he flew around was incredible to watch

All I can remember is him saying he always wanted to be a Raider

I can't even imagine how lucky we were to have Willis and Bowman patrolling the middle for those couple of seasons 😢 pure greatness

remember when alot of us were pissed losing Spikes and having the unproven Bowman filling his big shoes!

What a legend Bow is.

Should've won that game 2011 nfc championship

I was more upset about this game then any other 49er game ever. First of all, I was there and the way we lost combined with the rain made it devastating. The Giants were not the better team.

I also didn't think the Ravens were the better team in the Super Bowl but I knew Joe Flacco played very well so it was hard but understandable.
Will always love this dude for many great memories, but the most for the way he closed out Candlesticks great run in our last game there.

Salute to a great one!!!
My favorite Bowman highlight is when he chased down Wilson running to the sideline, blasted him and caused a fumble. Hard to imagine any linebacker ever being faster than he was on that play.
Bummer how his last few years went post-injury, but was glad to cheer him on.
Greatest MLB to ever play for the 49ers and it's not even close. Don't talk to me about guys who retired cuz of a stubbed toe either
Watching this guy play... Man o man.

Glad he is retiring as a niner.

The only play I can think of is when Willis ran down that WR in Arizona to save a touchdown.

I blame Kyle Williams and Alex Smith's inability to throw to anyone not named Vernon Davis in that first one. As for the SB, I think Harbaugh didnt prep the team well enough and it showed. That and calling TO in the last few minutes of that game killed the team's momentum.

Refs screwed them big time in both games. Obvious fumble by the giants not called, which would have sealed that game. And the numerous non-calls in the SB was just embarrassing.
One of the best to ever do it during his run imo. A damn shame how the injuries occurred with the worst one being by a teammate
