Forgot he was even a Raider until yesterday

....still better than Patrick Willis leaving the way he did

For real. Saleh about to lose his job.
Whoa there. Idk about that. I was being nice. This is the same guy that said that he always wanted to be a raider.

I'd take Bowman and his zero experience as a coach over the garbage Saleh has given us.

Yeah that's a real rational statement. A guy who's never coached anything in his life (except to other teammates which isn't really coaching) isn't better than someone who's been coaching for 10 years SMH.
Those 10 years have accumulated to something pretty sad, that should speak volumes. This team is going to get held back again by his Defense next year.

i do not know about coaching.. but to me people like bow and sherman know more about defense than the alleged dc will ever know

I guess that applies to Lynch too right? He played longer than Bowman or Sherman.

the resigning of ward and telling us how awesome ward is by lynch tells me all i need to know about how he values our safeties. i will not pollute the bow thread anymore with other people. i actually was never one of the guys who went nuts when we cut spikes for bowman. i think it took people ten seconds to see we had something special there

Disagree. Pat was 100% 49ers while he wore the uniform. Bo b***hed and moaned about his reduced role and then demanded a release. Pat embraced mentoring Bo and wasn't a jerk when his role was reduced as Bo's grew.

i must admit and i am ashamed of it now.. bow did piss me off the way he acted at the end. but that is way in my rear view mirror.. maybe bow knew foster was not worth his time. lol. its so nice to see. no matter how it ended. people like hailey and bow and i suspect gore and alex and others will return to the fold. and it will not be due to anything kyle or lynch does. if they are still here.. those guys are pros and were proud of wearing the jersey

anyone b***hing about willis and how he went out.... did we really want to see in willis what we saw in bow at the end.. unable to dominate on the field like he once did. no i am glad patrick went out on his own. we actually started to see the regress of willis in trhe 8 and 8 season though most of us were in denial at the time

To each their own. Regardless how you feel about how they left, in the end they were both all-time great linebackers for this franchise who gave us fans unforgettable memories

I've been watching this team since 1954 and I think the 2012 team with Willis, Bowman, Aldon Smith and Ahmad Brooks was the best group of LB's in team history. Willis and Bowman shut down the run and Smith and Brooks harassed the QB. Brooks was the weakest of this group but he was still good when he wanted to be.

I didn't make my point very well. What I was trying to say is that just because a player is good doesn't mean he will be a good coach. By saying that Bow and Sherman know more about defense that Saleh you are implying that they would be better coaches. History shows that most good players don't make good coaches. On the other hand some of the best coaches never played at all in the NFL. Walsh, Bellichik, Mike Shanahan, Lombardi, The Tuna and many more. Most great players don't want to be coaches. Singletary was one of the few and he had minimal success as a DC and flopped as a head coach.

Players evolve...he didn't want to and quite instead. Ray Lewis is the prime example of this at his position.
