Came up through the NE offensive system where he worked with Brady, Cam, and Mac. Then Josh McDaniels brought him to LVR. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

It seems like Shanahan is gathering some guys from other systems that have been successful in the past. Wright, Staley, and now Lombardi all may have some insight to add more depth to what the 49ers are doing. As long as Kyle believes they can add something, and Jed is willing to sign the check. go for it.

He was here during the tomsula and chip days. Great. Leave it to Kyle to bring that back to the bay. Kyle lovers greatest fear. Tomsula and Kelley.
