I must be getting old. For me it's Montana, Young, Kaep. I am hopeful that Kaep will become the #2 guy on my list.

SMH at Alex Smith and Other being above Jeff Garcia (And Tittle to an extent but I understand it because how long ago he played). Come on WZ. You are better than that.

I must be getting really old. I voted for John Brodie because noone else had done so, his father was an old family friend, and I had a crush on his sister. But my real favorites have to be Frankie Albert and Y.A., who were the quarterbacks when I first became actually cognizant of what I was supposed to be watching at Kezar.

When I was a kid, it was John Brodie. If not for the #@%ing dallas bungholes he would have a few Super Bowls.

Steve Young, I was a kid when the whole Montana-Young controversy went down, but because of Young I wanted to be a linebacker. I watched Young's run against Minnesota when I just started playing youth football and everyone kept saying he ran like a line backer, so that inspired me to become a linebacker... that and the fact I couldn't throw a spiral for sh*t at that age.

Lol, the results clearly show the passing of time and a younger fan base not around when Montana was called the greatest player ever by Madden.

Now they are just playing Madden.

Not in all cases, I go back to the Brodie years but picked Young, while Montana was the best ever to play the position I enjoyed watching Steve's athleticism over Joe's precision accuracy.

Joe Montana was responsible for mass premature births, mass babies named Joe, mass heart attacks, the disabled walking, children and adults fighting off cancer, entire populations of mean people being crushed in an unbelievable instant, normally calm people flopping around on the ground, aliens not attacking out of respect, and the greats to understand they are not the greatest.
