Hunter vs James

anyone who thinks james was better last season than hunter obviously didnt watch any games. james struggled to gain yards an took a few games just to start getting positive yardage where hunter came in an was runnin through people his first game of his rookie year. you look at hunters attributes an watch him on the field and hes a bowling ball. you can tell he leanred from the best cause he runs like frank hits the hole like frank and can get downfield in the open field easily too. im glad we got a smaller quicker back in him AND lamichael. months before the draft i said LMJ would be a great addition to our stable of RBs an what do they do they pick him up. so im glad we got those 2 guys an gore but hunter is clearly better than lmj. and if frank keeps slowing down hunters going to be better because he is just improving. hes small and light but extremly strong for his size hes perfect for screens an outside runs an thats what we used him for. if we could just keep goin that with him an frank an work lmj into it i think wel have the most dominating ground game the NFLs seen in many years.
I think that plays should be spilt between all of them as long as they are all on the roster.

LMJ really appeared to come on at the end and I think he is so close to breaking some seriously big runs. Gore is going to be the guy as long as he is here, he has earned it, but over the years, he has fumbled at some dangerous times. It would entertaining to see Kaep and LMJ out of R/O plays too. A lot like what he did at Oregon and we all know what LMJ did there.

It is a luxury to have those three with Kaep under center. We might as well give them all a chance and change up the run plays, especially with this offensive line.

I like them both but neither is an every down back. Were Gore to get hurt we'd be screwed. Neither one of them weighs more than 200lbs and neither one can give you 20-25 carries a game. Our offense requires a bigger back in the 215-230 range. Wouldn't be surprised if we picked up Stephan Taylor from Stanford.
Hunter as #2... He has starting potential , i wouldnt mind if he takes the #1 position after Frank retires. Or we would get another power running back (Marcus Lattimore or Le'Veon Bell in my opinion in this years draft) or we could just wait to draft him next year but i think this year draft from mid 3rd to 4th if either is there, we're taking them...
Hunter is a more complete back, but James was coming on huge at the end. James is always going to be on the small side, but I can see him really breaking out next year. I hope they use him more in screens along with Hunter.

Hunter was looking really good before he got hurt, I'm sure he's going to come back strong. I'm glad we have them both.

I also hated this post.

Gore retires a 49er. Period.
I just hope hunter can come back as strong as he was last year. He was starting to remind me of MJD. LMJ has yet to run through any tackle I can remember. I would have total faith with the carries split between hunter and gore . Lmj can b good he just needs to bulk up a bit and hold on to the ball
Is there any chance the eagles would be interested in trading for james?

With all due respect to Hunter, James is a Home Run Back. Hunter certainly has the ability to break loose, but it just seems like James has the ability to take one home whenever he touches the ball. Hunter as our #2 if he returns well, otherwise James with another offseason and some exp could be a more than capable #2.
Lets be honest we're lucky as f**k to have 3 quality RB's on the team when most teams have 1 or none.

Hunter and LMJ without Gore is an awesome tandem for any team to have. So how good do we have it

It depends how Hunter runs. If he looks gimpy and not yet back, you have to start James.
Hunter is a better back.

Having LMJ is icing on the cake.
