I don't think the extension has anything to do with this or next year's cap number of anthony davis. I can be wrong, doe.

No we havent. IMO if we keep stacking Draft picks/comp picks like we did this year over the next couple seasons, we should draft a WR every year untill we strike gold. Also bring in as many WR's into camp as UDFA's as possible. Never know where you will find a competant WR.

But sadly, i think if anyone is expendable its Crabtree. I see him wanting money, while he has shed the Diva tag IMO, he will still ant to get paid. Iupati, Kaep, Aldon, ETC, are all gonna cost money, and they are simply players you cant replace. Im not saying Crabtree will be easy for us to replace, but certainly easier than those guys.

If crabtree wont come to the table and strike a deal that is favorable for both partys, he will likely be the odd man out. I dont like it, but im ok with it.
^ Exactly
i think that the G position is easily replaceable. I don't want to see Iupati go, but if it comes down to crabs and Iupati, I rather keep Crabs.

This is the day Davis became one of my favorite Niners. Glad to see him extended.

we havnt had much of a QB to make a WR look good since TO either. In fact Crabtree didnt look too great until we got a competent QB throwing to him.

True. That said, this year is going to speak volumes about Crabs' worth.
