Vincent Jackson's stats his first season:

3 catches 59 yards 0 td

Steve Smith's stats his first season:

10 catches 154 yards 0 td

Eric Decker stats his first season:

6 catches 106 yards 1 td

I could go on and on about receivers who had lackluster rookie seasons but I think those 3 are enough. I'm not saying that all receivers have had crappy first seasons, but some of the best WRs in the league have in the past. Why are some of us judging a player after one season. AJ has the ability, but we will find out in these next couple seasons if he's able to translate it into success.

That is bold, and I wouldn't be surprised. But I think his offseason work with Kaep will pay off and hill be a contributor, but not a major factor.
