Indeed we will. I think the depth will count most when there's a third wr on the field. We have a legitimate pass rusher to spell brooks. When Carradine comes back he can rotate with aldon because Carradine essentially did the same thing at flo st. Not to mention Dorsey next to either McDonald of Justin is going to be a fruitful combination. Very excited about the front 7.

I would really like us to give Boone some LT and RT snaps during weekly practices and even PS games. I think by now, he has absorbed much from both OG and OT... so mixed snaps at all three positions shouldn't hurt his progression. We have solid OG options to plug in, if Boone has to slide to an OT spot due to injury. So let's just keep him as our starting G/swing T. He's young, and has another 3 years on his cheap contract.

Nope. It was the final day of training camp that was open to media.

Excellent point. Staley has some injury history and we've been lucky with Davis. I don't want to see Snyder at LT for God's sake (CK's blind side). Getting Boone some reps outside (night and day difference than OG) would be a very smart move...just in case. And oh yeah, bring in a veteran OT ASAP if possible...our backup T's are horrendous and Snyder isn't much better and it sounds like he continues to work at G anyhow.

Something needs to change between now and the start of the season. Back up tackles are currently useless. I would enjoy seeing kilgore at tackle just in case. I think he would do well enough as an emergency back up.

He is essentially playing the same position as aldon does on passing downs. If we wanted we could utilize what I consider a valuable asset. Subbing him on passing downs for either brooks or aldon would allow hm to do what he's most comfortable doing. We have a wealth of pass rushing on the edge with the inclusion of Carradine. I think the best way to ease him in to the system is putting him in on the edge. Idk. Maybe he can dominate in the middle as well but regardless he looks unblockable on the edge.
