Before we get to next year's draft, both the NFL and the colleges have to play some games and there is free agency.

Coleman might much higher ranked than he is now. Jennings might become a good wide receiver.

The comments on Jenkins is based on what has gone on from last season to date.

If he can transform into a stud, I don't think anyone will have a problem with that.

But, as it stands, no, is just not good enough. It is my personal opinion and perhaps a few others in this forum.

The preseason games are just around the corner, it should give us a pretty good idea before the start of the season.
Right now, my expectations are that A.J. Jenkins, at most, produces what Ted Ginn did, and nothing more.

What a waste of a pick.

Harbalke can't always be right. IMO, they should've went with someone with more physical talents that could be fine tuned. Like Hill.
im hoping and praying that cam johnson beats out haralson

but it is the truth. after what he did not do last year, how can you have high expectations.. It is best to not expect much so anything we get from him is good. Now i am not sure if that is good news or bad news when it comes to a number one draft pick but it is what we have to do with him. On one hand I do not like the reports coming out of camp in regards to what he is doing or not doing, on the other hand, i realize its early, on the other hand i would expect more from him in his second training camp as a niner with a full off season beneath him, on the other hand maybe he needs more time. i need to stop saying,,, on the other hand.
That being said if moore unseats jenkins I will not roll out the shock and awe campaign, again that means the front office and golden boys we have running this team made a major major mistake in this pick
I'm willing to have a little more patience with Jenkins, there is still a lot of TC and preseason games to go....we should have a better feel for what he can do in the next several weeks.

and.....I do remember people labeling Crabtree a bust too.....

of course this is the truth,, jesus did we miss haralson last year,, f**king higgins/huggins, whoever the f**k he was. Now that was a mistake by the coaches and front office.

That sounds about right. That basically means next to nothing. I think is time to cut our losses. At most, give him the 4 preseason games and see what he can summon.

mayo is right. I know some people want to anoint these guys as bill walsh jr but not everyone can turn on a tv late at night, see a wide out , know he will be a stud and draft him

yes. i have always said,,, if we are setting here at the end of pre season discussing the same things and non productivity with him as we were at the end of last year,, you gotta cut him, admit you f**ked up and move on. yes its only three days of camp but come on,,, you expect more after a full off season under him
