that would be sad

but it is the truth. after what he did not do last year, how can you have high expectations.. It is best to not expect much so anything we get from him is good. Now i am not sure if that is good news or bad news when it comes to a number one draft pick but it is what we have to do with him. On one hand I do not like the reports coming out of camp in regards to what he is doing or not doing, on the other hand, i realize its early, on the other hand i would expect more from him in his second training camp as a niner with a full off season beneath him, on the other hand maybe he needs more time. i need to stop saying,,, on the other hand.
That being said if moore unseats jenkins I will not roll out the shock and awe campaign, again that means the front office and golden boys we have running this team made a major major mistake in this pick

Ginn had what? 2 catches for 1 yard last year? So Jenkins is expected to net one more total yard than he did from a year ago? That would be the bust of all busts. With Crabtree out it is the perfect time for our 1st rounder to step up

and.....I do remember people labeling Crabtree a bust too.....

mm,, that may have been cuz he was always hurt or the contract drama. We never saw him in pre season. at least we are seeing jenkins in pre season and early returns are starting to make my head hurt

i do not disagree,, god knows i hope the kid steps up. sounds like people like moore are doing the stepping up. I will continue to reserve judgement but I really really do understand those losing patience

i'm just glad our pass rushers finally have some depth.

This is true, our D line and our LBs should get breathers much more often. I just never liked Haralson, a dead cat in pads could get after a qb better than he could

i thought he did a good job when he played? at least much better than any backup guy did last year.

Yep, Harbaugh makes mistakes too. Yep, Hill could have been a better choice or at 30th we could have taken David Wilson away from the Giants, an awesome RB and KR.

Well our only real back up OLB last year was Haggans, which isnt saying much. Haralson was horrible at getting after the qb, he has like 21 sacks in 5 years. I know people think that he is good at setting the edge but people say that about every OLB we have. And that imo is because we have the best ILB tandem in the league. Give me guys that can get after the qb. I just am ready to see what Johnson and Lemonier can do, and am ready to see the 29 year old go. But he did take a pay cut so he might get some leeway

remember when we were laughing at seahawks cuz we supposedly made them bite on Irvin? I'd take that PED user right now lol

yes,, you always hope the young kids who have more spit and juice than the older guy can take the job. it would be nice if the two kids make the team but as you said, no matter how you cut it, the depth there should be better. I guess in the end it does not matter who they are as long as they can do the job better than what was done last year

Or make sure their physically there to watch the player as apposed to just going by the film.
mayo is right. I know some people want to anoint these guys as bill walsh jr but not everyone can turn on a tv late at night, see a wide out , know he will be a stud and draft him

I can't agree more !! Is like if anyone says anything slightly negative about Baalke or Harbaugh he will get slammed here. Honestly speaking, I think sometimes they really get too cute with their picks. Let's face it, Jenkins was a complete waste of a 1st round pick.

Well its pretty hard to find negatives in a coach that has taken us from bottom of the barrel to playing in championship games and super bowls in his first two years and also getting coach of the year.. Or to find faults in a gm who in his first year won GM of the Year. I mean look at what Baalke has done 2011 was a grandslam draft.

Aldon smith
Kaepernick
Culliver
Hunter
Kilgore
B Miller

and 2013 is shaping up to be an incredible draft as well that should set us up for years

Reid
Carradine
Mcdonald
Lemonier
Lattimore
Patton
and then theres guys like Dial and Moody and Daniels who can add great depth to our team

not to mention all the FAs he has hauled in and all the salary restructures he has done with Paraag

if he misses with Jenkins i can live with that, it will be sad but Baalke has done too many other good things. Now if Jenkins turns it around then 2012 wont be so bad with him and LMJ, Looney, C Johnson and Fleming possibly adding mroe depth

That sounds about right. That basically means next to nothing. I think is time to cut our losses. At most, give him the 4 preseason games and see what he can summon.
yes. i have always said,,, if we are setting here at the end of pre season discussing the same things and non productivity with him as we were at the end of last year,, you gotta cut him, admit you f**ked up and move on. yes its only three days of camp but come on,,, you expect more after a full off season under him

Right on !! The conversation we should be having at this stage should be how AJ Jenkins is going to smoke the Seahawks or something along those lines. Instead what do we keep hearing about him ? From day 1, the kid turned down Jerry Rice to run "The Hill", didn't even know where to line up on the field in the Cards game after learning the playbook for almost a full season, showed up 1 month late in Atlanta in joining Kap and Ricardo with their training and now 8 targets, 3 catches and 1 drop in training camp. How can anyone blame us for our negative assessment on Jenkins ?! Enough is enough. My last straw will be those 4 preseason games, I will give him the benefit of the doubt, but that's it !!

you are not a real fan. You would rather have nolan back here, you would rather have jimmy ray back here. you should be on your hands and knees drinking their bathwater. anything less, you are just a non fan and troll. Look at where we were before they came and you dare speak poorly of them. Look at our offense before roman came and you dare yell at him, just because he went full retard at various times including on the biggest stage of them all when even jimmy ray(whom you want back) knew to run the ball when you got the best running game and run blocking game in the nfl

I don't get it man. Why do you have to take it so personally ? Is anyone saying Baalke and Harbaugh are crap ? Noone is finding faults, they are human beings and people do make mistakes from time to time. All we are saying here is, Jenkins is a fxxked up pick, admit it, rectify it by picking a proper top receiver next draft that's all.
