To be honest, Jenkins looked perfectly fine in preseason last year. So I don't quite understand all the negative press on him

he could not earn any real playing time as a rookie and then when he got his chance after the two big injuries, chad hall got the job ahead of him. thus the negative press and negative feelings from some of the fan base

do not misunderstand me,,, I agree, I think the kickoff return guys are clearly james and hunter and that is more than great,,,,, but to have this guy in the wings as a back up is a huge bonus for us. am not sure what he has done in the punt return job cuz we do need a back up for kyle there

I get that, but just from the eye test, watching him in preseason, he looks fine.

and he still saw the field last year, in the playoffs as well.

i know but nothing went his way, maybe ck did not see him, maybe he was unable to get open, they did not target him cept for one pass he dropped. Now is that the fault of jenkins, ck, the play calling, all of the above, none of the above, some of the above?

I think he just needs time to develop, like Kap needed. The niners have the luxury of drafting guys and having them redshirt.

Though our WRs dropping like flies doesn't help. Hopefully Jenkins will show some development this preseason. Maybe Chad Hall can earn a spot.

Thanks Donnie!!! Love that Old Logo!! Why did they ever change it to the new one anyway? That old one is Classic. The article says its just for this season 2013??
