I think it's a little more than 2 drops, its his inability to get open and stay on his feet. I agree that it's waaaay too early to jump on Jenkins, but he really needs to step up this summer. He is vitally important to this team for not only this year, but the next 2 when Crabs will become a FA. If we flopped on AJ, we basically have to start over from scratch. The guys we passed on like Broyles, Randle, Hill, Jefferies, Sanu, Hilton didn't have monster rookie years, but AJ was downright miserable, nobody can deny that fact especially since we were short on WR's late last year. Now he had an entire offseason in the offense, worked with Kap in Atlanta and has been given the chance to grab the #2 spot, when we desperately need him to....so yeah, he's gonna get put under a microscope, and rightfully so. Excuses for him are running short, he needs to step the f*ck up!


Is way more than 2 drops, I can dig out the articles and do a tally. If I am not wrong is over 10 already.

Eric Branch @Eric_Branch Breaking #49ers post-practice news: Colin Kaepernick is a skilled athlete. Finishes with long lasers to Boldin, C. Hall and V. Davis.


Chris Biderman @ChrisBiderman Ricardo Lockette still seems hampered by a possible hip issue, but he did practice. #49ers


Matt Barrows @mattbarrows Bright side for offense: Anquan Boldin, Chad Hall and Vernon Davis go deep at the end of practice. Main victim: CJ Spillman at free safety.

Taylor Price @TaylorPrice49 Jonathan Goodwin was not at practice, Daniel Kilgore took the bulk of the first-team reps at center. Adam Snyder saw some reps.




We never mention Chad Hall at all, but he seems to be getting a lot of looks from the QB's, always see him near the top of the list for targets and catches. Too bad he can't play outside and basically needs to overtake KW for a spot.
