you must have missed the memo, we are supposed to relax because he will turn it on any day now
you must have missed the memo, we are supposed to freak out because camp just started and Jenkins dropped 2 passes. catastrophic
Thats what ive been trying to explain to you this whole time
yeah because 2 dropped passes are just as big of a deal as CK wearing a Dolphins cap.
I think it's a little more than 2 drops, its his inability to get open and stay on his feet. I agree that it's waaaay too early to jump on Jenkins, but he really needs to step up this summer. He is vitally important to this team for not only this year, but the next 2 when Crabs will become a FA. If we flopped on AJ, we basically have to start over from scratch. The guys we passed on like Broyles, Randle, Hill, Jefferies, Sanu, Hilton didn't have monster rookie years, but AJ was downright miserable, nobody can deny that fact especially since we were short on WR's late last year. Now he had an entire offseason in the offense, worked with Kap in Atlanta and has been given the chance to grab the #2 spot, when we desperately need him to....so yeah, he's gonna get put under a microscope, and rightfully so. Excuses for him are running short, he needs to step the f*ck up!
Is way more than 2 drops, I can dig out the articles and do a tally. If I am not wrong is over 10 already.
over 10? lol ur full of s**t until you do

Nothing serious, I hope!
I think it's about time to make the call to Collie..
or give Marlon Moore a shot
Go for Marlon Moore. I don't want Collie to die while playing for us. The guy has had way too many concussions already.
Just let Collie go to the Broncos so he can hook up with ol' Peyton again.
Moore has impressed already and looks like he'll stick

How many of yall were around for the Taylor Jacobs is lighting up training camp hoopla? How did that turn out? Not to say let's give Jenkins a pass but at least wait til he falls flat on his face in regular season games.

Glad to read that some of the WRs not named Boldin have stepped up, albeit only practice.
They saw something in Hall last season, or they wouldn't have elevated him. Somebody to definitely keep an eye on...
...Moore as well.

KW needs to stay healthy, he's quite talented and as quick off the line as we have. If MM can return healthy, Anquan, KW and MM should suffice until Crabs returns. Problem is, these guys seem to never stay healthy damn it. They won't cut AJ yet and none of the other fringe WRs seem to be separating themselves. Chad Hall is the most consistent but if he is PS eligible, I doubt he gets a spot on the regular roster. Pre-season should tell us quite a bit about AJ, I mean even if he wasn't a true 1st round talent, most saw him as a 2nd-3rd round guy, usually these guys make rosters. He needs to get his head out of his....

At least it's fun to hear this "deep bomb to Vernon" talk... that sounds like something to look forward to in the season

OK, I just counted based on Matt Barrows' reports, not quite 10, the tally up to Day 4 is 16 targets and 7 receptions. Near enough.

Hopefully Chad can be our poor man's Wes Welker. VD will have to break Megatron's receiving record for us to get back to the Super Bowl.

If injuries keep racking up, expect to see a lot of three TE sets. Vernon, vance, Celek + boldin on the outside.
