you must have missed the memo, we are supposed to relax because he will turn it on any day now

you must have missed the memo, we are supposed to freak out because camp just started and Jenkins dropped 2 passes. catastrophic

Thats what ive been trying to explain to you this whole time

yeah because 2 dropped passes are just as big of a deal as CK wearing a Dolphins cap.

I think it's a little more than 2 drops, its his inability to get open and stay on his feet. I agree that it's waaaay too early to jump on Jenkins, but he really needs to step up this summer. He is vitally important to this team for not only this year, but the next 2 when Crabs will become a FA. If we flopped on AJ, we basically have to start over from scratch. The guys we passed on like Broyles, Randle, Hill, Jefferies, Sanu, Hilton didn't have monster rookie years, but AJ was downright miserable, nobody can deny that fact especially since we were short on WR's late last year. Now he had an entire offseason in the offense, worked with Kap in Atlanta and has been given the chance to grab the #2 spot, when we desperately need him to....so yeah, he's gonna get put under a microscope, and rightfully so. Excuses for him are running short, he needs to step the f*ck up!

Is way more than 2 drops, I can dig out the articles and do a tally. If I am not wrong is over 10 already.

over 10? lol ur full of s**t until you do

OK, I just counted based on Matt Barrows' reports, not quite 10, the tally up to Day 4 is 16 targets and 7 receptions. Near enough.

That doesn't mean he's DROPPED every incompletion.

Barrows usually puts how many drops, too. 16 targets and 7 receptions does not necessarily mean 9 drops.
Unless Barrows stated it...

No, it doesn't, but it also doesn't mean he BEAT the DBs in every incompletion neither.

Seems like we are cursed at WR. In 2011 and 2012 if our WR's didn't go down we might have had 2 super bowl wins. So far this year doesn't seem to be any different but at least we are more stacked than we were those 2 years. Looks like we might have to take a WR early again in next year's draft especially with Boldin, Manningham and Williams all being FA's. I won't push the panic button though; never really do. I expect big things from McDonald and Celek should be a better receiving threat this year. We also have 3 RB's who can all catch the ball out of the backfield and James or Gore can split out if need be. Not to mention Kaepernick should be much better this year. So glad we have Boldin though, we'd be a lot thinner without him (no jinx).

No idea.

IIRC he was running sprints on the sideline a day or two ago and looked healthy and good to go.

Are there 49ers WR Applications Forms that we can pick up to fill in ? LOL.

WR is my position - where do I get an application? I'm 6'4", 220 and can catch everything. Does it matter that my 40 time is around 5.7 seconds?

Oh, so it is no longer the job of a wideout to beat the DB on a pass ? Got it.

If he plays terrible during the PS then worry, the Cohnism has to stop until we see it with our own eyes
