Last year i believe moss broke his finger and was back the next week, or maybe he dislocated it.

If Patton as a rookie had the dedication to do that Im pretty sure everyone would be his biggest fan, and we would want him to have a lifelong contract with the team lol

I think that Patton is still running routes in practice, but they are not throwing him the ball.
If that is true, it is better than having him on the sideline watching the team.

He is running routes and they are throwing the ball hes just been instructed not to grab it.

Dorsey is still in the mix for the starting position.
The 49ers defensive coordinator stressed that the nose tackle competition between Williams and free agent addition Glenn Dorsey is not over by any means,

I would not be at all surprised if Dorsey begins to get snaps with the starting defensive, if he hasn't already.
