Yep that sounds about right because of the "1st round pick status" and nothing more. Or until he drops a few balls, give a way a couple of INTs and even us losing a game or two, then Baalke and Harbaugh just might wake up to reality and do something about it.

That comment makes sound as if your real beef is with Baalke and Harbaugh, and not with Jenkins.

Of course, you have a better grasp on the reality of the 49er wide receivers than Baalke and Harbaugh.

Don't trust Maiocco. That's the same dude who couldn't see Kap's talents despite watching him practice every single day.

Now if he were grading the receivers' english papers...then I'd be all eyes and ears to his opinions.

As much as I have slammed Brandon Lloyd (I admit to being one of the biggest Lloyd haters around here), I have to say that if things don't start getting a lot better soon, I guess I wouldn't mind seeing his vain mug in a Niner helmet again. The concussion thing with Collie just worries me a little too much. This is a division with brutal defenses and artificial surfaces. At least at this point, Lloyd would come cheap.

Like I said in a previous post, hopefully they can sign him to a contract similar to Nnamdi's.

Much like you don't take just one statistic to compare players, you don't take just one beat writers' opinion. The combo of MM, MB, and others gives a pretty good picture.

Dang, you are extra cranky today.
From Romans press conference...

Greg Roman likes the progress he has seen from Vance McDonald in the blocking department. #49ers

Greg Roman is impressed with Quinton Patton's awareness of everything. He is "clawing and scratching" every way to get better. #49ers

Roman on Marlon Moore: He shows up and knows his job inside out. He is a pretty diverse guy who has jumped off the screen at us. #49ers

From Ray McDonald

Ray McDonald on Ian Williams: He isn't surprising us. Nothing against Sopoaga or Jean Francois, but we feel he's an upgrade.

#49ers DT Ray McDonald said this is the deepest defensive line group he's been a part of in seven seasons. #Camp49

Good stuff....really pulling for Patton to get healthy soon!

Not cranky, I'm just saying. All of these overreactions are based on the opinions of a bunch of english majors who have a history of not being able to identify talent.

I hate to agree with you but you do kinda have a point lol

and Maiocco does indeed have a horrible history of predicting things
From Kap about Chad Hall

"He gets open. He's quick, he's shifty, he knows how to read defenses and he finds the soft spot … He's someone that's easy to throw to. Most of the time he's open..."

Sounds A LOT like what Welker made a living on doing for years. Remember, Wes did nothing before going to NE in 06 at the age of 26, Chad just turned 27. Hall is the same exact size but with a faster 40.....don't want to jump the gun, but with Chad working out with Kap all offseason, this guy is getting me pumped up!!!!!!
