Was at training camp today, thought you maybe interested in some of the following observations:
- Lot of 5 wide formations. LMJ starting out as a singleback and motioning out to WR
- Kaepernick threw a clutch fade to Vance McDonald in the endzone for a touchdown ala "The Catch" where he could only get it; that being said, he also threw 2 INTs today (one to Nnamdi, other to Bowman I believe)
- Vernon was a beast; he caught pretty much everything in his way from slants, to fades, to hookins
- Reid had a nice play where he broke up a Vernon Davis fade in the endzone
- Willis injury does not look too bad; spoke with him as he walked to the locker room after practice, just mentioned he can't sign autographs but should be good

thanks for the update brotha.... I think we are gonna have a kick ass year, but I'm not gonna jump the gun just yet. many of our players have tons to prove, and its gonna be no cakewalk, even tho it seems like half the zone, feel almost guarenteed about what we are gonna do.
Thing is, I can go back a few seasons, and whenever we got ahead of ourselves, a little too cocky, or knew we had things in the bag we imploded. Sometimes things happened where we were like WTF, did that just happen. Then we lose, get a little more humbled, back to earth and remain even keel. Then we really saw the results that we wanted to see.
Even now, I try not too comment too much during OTC, TC, and even when pre-season begins cuz its still crazy in here. For example, I remember the first day of practice. Kaep and the offense didnt seem in sync, few missed plays here and there, blah blah blah... comments were, "ah dont worry bout it, its just tc, this is where u make the mistakes, this is the time u fix it, just wait to the regular season starts, they said that Kaep wasnt a good practice player anyway." Then i'll be damned as soon as the next practice was he did great, then the comments were...."ahh check this out.. Kaep is killen them out there. if he's doing this good in practice, just imagine what he's gonna do in the regular season... straight beast mode." lol
Even with a few beat writers, not gonna say names, cuz im sure some know who im talking about. When they report good to great stuff on the niners, then they are the bomb. when they write something that may not be too flattering, then some of us attack em, like..."no one reads those articles anyway, what do they know, they aint been for us in a while, or remember when they got it wrong with us". even some as crappy as the Cohn's or as some say now matt M... Didnt wanna say names, but had to use this one. A lot post in here, that their articles suck, cuz sometimes they are spot on, some times they arent. But when they write flattering comments, if you read the posts in the articles, some of our same niners, comment there, "welcome to good writing, or bout time u got on the train, etc". first article in negative light.. man no one reads that ish, he and his father are jokes Cohn, or i stopped reading his stuff when he moved to comcast Matt M..
Now not saying every fan in the zone, because we def have some great members in here, but some in here, are worse then John Kerry during his presidential debates....
Here's to a great season Niners, when there is adversity we seem to rise to the occasion, so good luck to us, and i cant wait for the regular season to start.

Reports are coming in that this injury was sustained when Willis ran into Riley Cooper at a Kenny Chesney concert.
