Return of the Quentin font?

I think the 49ers realize how much money there is in nostalgia (the return to the 80s style jerseys). The Quentin font returning last year had an overwhelmingly positive response. Combine that with the years the current font has been used (the dark years and our only Super Bowl loss). Switching back to the quentin font would be a great move. Obviously I'm biased since I love it, but it makes sense from a business POV.

The current font reminds me of how Donahue was hell-bent on "building a new identity" for the 49ers. The 49ers were the one team who had a ready made identity. The worst part of the dark years was seeing so many Walsh disciples achieve great success while we toiled with Erickson, Nolan and Singletary.

I think the black is here to stay - that's all that Shanahan and the coaching staff where is black.

Hatclub.com I picked these up....both are fitted. I've been hunting for a Quentin new era hat for years and I couldn't pass up the 1990-91ish script hat either.

Nice dude. My biggest issue with being a 49er fan is that the hats they make for the team store are terrible.

Anyone else like me and want to see the candy cane three striped socks come back? Doesn't have to be evert game but I'd love to see them from time to time.
