The point I was trying to make is Alex Smith was the wrong pick, so no need to cheer for the dude. The guy is a nice bloke and all, but just not what I would call a great QB. It was a No.1 overall pick wasted.

Anyone who is smart will be cheering for him and the Chiefs this year because if they go 8-8 or better we get a 2nd round pick instead of a 3rd round pick. Last years 8-8 team was pick 47 as opposed to a 6-10 team which picked 70th. So I guess people don't have to cheer for Alex but they should be cheering for his team this year.

A few things I'd like to see from this game:

-Cox get some punt returns against Chiefs 1st Team
-Daniels get a half quarter to quarter at QB (unless we are hiding him for next year)
-tolzien and mccoy with the 1st string offense and see what they can do.. like a series each
-Get Jenkins involved, give him some reverses/easy catches to get his confidence up. a big reverse run might change his entire career
-Jewel Hampton... I think Dixon is working on being a lock but would like to see if the guy has potential for the future and is worth a ps spot
-plenty of wilhoite and moody at ILB... they seem to be the #3/4 this year & need all the work they can get. stupar/johnson cleanup duty
-skuta at OLB against the 1st string, see if he should make the team as 5th olb or not,haralson/lemonier are locks (get lemonier more work)
-More kilgore at c... looney and wiggins plenty of work as well... could be fighting for last OL spot
-plenty of reps to vance, he has shown what he can do but has to be ready for a big role week 1.needs to hit the juggs machine every day

Probably not 4th but 3rd I was thinking but I'd like to see it in this game as well. Don't think Kap needs more than a series or 2 in this game.

Trying to hide Daniels. I don't agree. Cut Colt or Scott should have kept Josh Johnson.
