I got GB over SF, I think Kapernick is way over hyped this season, he will definitely be more contained this season because all teams are aware of what his strengths are. Just like 2011 Aaron Rodgers was a beast but was more contained in 2012 because of the defenses awareness.

Also, some say they are now loaded at WR after preseason. I wouldn't say that they are loaded, that suggests a wealth of proven players, and as you look at the roster, there is only one WR that had any significant success, but I would say that there is good potential at the WR position for the 49ers. In comparison, I would say the hawks have WR that are way more proven. Just My Opinion.

Of course you do. And, I've got the Panthers over the Seahawks because the Seahawks have a .34 winning percentage in 10:00 AM road games and they lost their first five road games last year.

Wilson was basically held back and eased into the team before Carrol sent him loose later on when he felt he was ready. So yes we lost some games in the start of the season including at road games, but from the Bears game onward the Hawks were on a roll. I'd also like to add that in the Atlanta game that Wilson was great in the near comeback, but the defense unfortunately did not do its part when they took the field and ultimately let the team down.

However, that Carolina upset is possible. Team really has no pass rush as of yet. Clemeons out...Irvin out we have a rookie from Idaho who might shine. If we can get some pressure on him it's over. If Cam can get outside it could be really a close game. If we force him to throw it's over. The hawks are team still reeling from losing Michael Robinson. I'm not sure how that is going to affect the team spirit in the locker room yet. If Carolina wants to beat this team ....now is that time. NOT later in the season.

Did you see how Pryor ran all over us from the QB spot. Look to that and more when Cam takes the field. If Cam has some decent down field targets they have a good shot. But then again he is throwing into the LEGION OF BOOM. His speed will be the thing that could help him with short slant passes.

Man we are going to absolutely cream GB. That team has been obsessed with us all offseason to the point of desperation in signing 2 ex 49er QBs. Keep dreaming bud. We are rolling into SEA week 2 undefeated ready for you guys. Teams like GB are what we eat for breakfast. And now that teams think they know Kap's strengths, please tell me his weaknesses other than the lack of experience

And Wilson blew up once SEA started seeing WAS running the Pistol and read option concepts and decided to piggy back that idea mid season. Otherwise Wilson was diminished trying to be a pocket passer. Wilson became most effective once they started using his mobility more regularly. I would argue that Wilson is most dependant on getting outside the pocket than most QBs. He has great numbers inside the pocket but he is aided by his feet and the threat to use his mobility. He often takes the snap and dances around until someone gets open to the point where a defense is surprised when he actually stands in to fire a quick strike. The guy is good but Kap has no limitations and more room for growth so we will see if defenses have him "figured out"

so much fail its incredible. I like the part where you said Rodgers was contained in 2012 because of defensive awareness. 4300 yards, 39 tds, and 8 picks is "contained"? LOLOLOLOL

Yawn.

All that yawning is contageous

Usually, I'm up for a little (battling) the trolling in here, but I have to train for my Thumb Wrestling competition coming up...
@DrHawkingThe12th

Yeah, Wilson was sacked four times this preseason, so you've got to wonder about that protection. He also threw two interceptions. He ended his preseason with a QB rating of 88. But, I have to wonder about Seahawk fans who think Kaepernick is "over-hyped." By comparison, Kaepernick threw just as many TD's (2), but took no sacks and threw no interceptions for a QB rating of 116.

Everyone is talking about the Niners tough schedule, but I think the Seahawks have a much bigger challenge. In their first five games they play three on the road at 10:00 AM against the Panthers, the Texans and the Colts. Ouch! If your team ends the first five with a positive record, they definitely deserve to be a favorite to go deep into the playoffs.

Man you are soooo right, the Niners will probably get smashed next week...

I hate winning the West two years running and going to back-to-back NFC Championship games.

...oh, I'm sorry. A NFC Championship game is the game between the top two NFC teams each year but don't worry, your team was crowned the preseason champion. You guys won't have to worry about playing in it.
