Even though Matthews had a sack in the last game, I still think Staley won that battle. Staley is hands down one of the best LT's out there. Sure its preseason, but he held his own against Jared Allen.

With Staley at LT no pass rusher worries me.

Does anyone have any advice on tailgating before and after the game? My parents, brother and I are flying in for the game from WI (yes we are packers fans - but :) have family ties in the SF area and have much respect for the 49ers)... But will have a car. Is there a specific parking pass we should look for? My parents aren't real thrilled with the idea of going to a bar, so any advice on the tailgate scene would be really appreciated!

I would love for the 49ers to run a strict pro style attack vs the Packers. All their studying into how to defend the read-option will be wasted.

The Packers' offensive line is in taters and the secondary will be sitting on short routes and shutting down the run game. Kaepernick gets comfortable sitting in the pocket completing passes to the WRs that the Packers will neglect in favor of doubling up Boldin and Davis. Over 100 yards receiving for a WR other than Boldin. A long TD by Vernon Davis beating the crappy coverage of A.J Hawk. No more than 2-3 designed runs by Kaepernick - just enough to slow down the pass rush. 130 yards+ combined for Gore and Hunter. Five sacks for the 49ers defense. Lots of Packers punts. A good kickoff return by Patton. A couple unnecessary roughness penalties on the Packers for late hits and dirty play, pretending to be tough and being mad because the 49ers now own them. Late Packers' TD makes the score look closer than the game was.

Green Bay can beat the Niners if they are in sinc and we are not.

So far it looks like we are much more in sinc and intent headed to the game.
