Then what? Are you thinkin' what I'm thinkin'?

19-0 baby!
I understand our offensive scheme requires us to snap the ball late into the playclock, but we MUST speed up or simplify things if we want to avoid problems in Seattle.

we'll still have 14 more games to go. A win at Seattle is a big one but we still have other games that we have to win too.

But I still want to f**k up the seacocks and their obnoxious fans

Agreed we had too many delay of games. We can't have that kind of mistakes in Seattle or any away games.

a dominant team will win on the road and home with alot of points...that is what seattle was made to look like in the off season an offensive juggernaut...that only produced 2 field goals and one big play to win.

Makes sense. I for one hate all the pre-season hype. No one has earned ANYTHING until they've actually done it. The media hype surrounding the Hawks is over the top but they are a good team that has a knack for winning the close games. And they are a completely different team at home. I'm just glad they won on the road for once! Winning by 50 or winning by 1 really doesn't matter in the W/L column. The game next week is going to be unbelievably physical. If you're a football fan, it's the kind of game you hope for.
I do not expect us to win this game. It would be nice not to get blown out however.

Run game for both teams was not good today. I think that will be something the coaches stick with more next game

What exactly about Seattle's game today was so bad? On the road, Eastern time zone in the heat and humidity, missing 4 starters on D (2 of which were IMO being saved for the game next week), and Russell having a 25-33 320 yd passing game against a very solid defense...... I'm not talking ANY smack either. Just attempting a quality football conversation. No one with football knowledge will debate that the 49er's have possibly the best OL and a top DL in the game. SEA's OL and DL are banged up and average. Just curious where the confidence comes from.

Seahawks put up 12 points against some team I'm never heard of + Cam Newton. Panthers may have a solid defense and the schedule may not have fallen favorably for Seattle. According to the talking heads, Seattle is a bona fide Super Bowl favorite out of the gate. I don't think I've displayed an excessive amount of confidence by pointing out that Seattle played poorly against a sub-par team in their season opener. Even if they had to wake up early, that's not championship caliber. I'm not playing down Seattle, especially at home...but I stand by my earlier observation. I'm not sure they don't go undefeated at home again but, man, they suck it up on the road.

Hard to expect a win in Seattle, but I think we will have opportunities to win the game. Just have to capitalize.

Agreed. Just hope for no serious/season-ending injuries. It always seems like we leave the game with a couple.
we shouldn't look at the fact that Seattle won only 12-7

this is a DIVISION RIVAL and this will be a very tough game to win.

If Kaep put up another performance like today, I don't see how Seattle wins. A lot of people are basing this on the 2nd 49ers Seattle game last year. The 49ers were pretty beat up going into that game and basically took a day off. I don't see this happening Sunday night.

They do play like crap on the road for some reason. I won't argue that! hahaha. But RW threw for a career high so there are aspects that were definitely a step in the right direction. The Panther's front 7 is solid though. The poor play at times had a lot to do with the defensive play. That's what gives me pause next week because I know what your D is capable of. I was definitely shocked that we both won via the passing game and had very little running attack to speak of. I'm with you that next week the run games will be a huge factor in who wins.
