We definitely need to put a lick on the midget when they run that read option. He burned the Saints defense a couple of times with the read option. Aldon and Brooks needs to stay with their assignments and put a big ass hit on RW on that play even if he doesn't have the ball. That will rattle him and make them think twice about running the read option again. On week two, Brooks laid him the fucc out on one read option play and they never ran it again.

Seems to be a common thought around here so here are the facts about the impact of that hit and it's impact on the read option's use copied from another thread.

Q1:
(8:36) R/O left - Lynch up middle (brooks doesn't hit wilson or lynch, stands in the back field and watches Lynch rip one for 21 yds)

Q2:
(15:00) R/O right - Lynch off right tackle for 5 yds.
(7:29) R/O right - Lynch off right tackle for 14 yds (this is the hit)
(1:49) Shotgun Wilson scrambles right (right by Brooks) for 11 yds and a 1st down
(1:35) R/O right - Turbin off right guard for 3 yds
(1:01) R/O right - Turbin up middle for 4 yds

Q3:
(14:17) R/O right - Lynch left tackle for 8 yds (wilson fakes the run to the right)
(11:30) R/O right - Turbin off left tackle for 13 yds

I stopped watching after the 2nd instance in the 3rd quarter because well... as you can see, it was still run.

* I only recorded R/O in which Wilson went to the right after the hit (because apparently the argument was that they didn't do it again - to the right).

Ok....understandable. But that point I was trying to get out is for Aldon and Brooks to lay R.Wilson out EVERY SINGLE read option play. It doesn't matter if he has the ball or not, put a violent legal hit on him and put him in his back every damn time. I'm sure Carroll wouldn't want to see RW to take those violent hits, so he'll dial back on the read option plays unless he wants RW to get injure. If we do this early in the game, there's a chance we won't see the Seahawks read option being effective on Sunday. Even if Lynch have big gains by not having the OLBs keying on him, but they rather want to protect their most important investment in RW for the future than risk him getting hurt.

Idk about players, but I know some of the Seahawk fans will get knocked out on Sunday. Or at least here in Hawaii they will, lol... It had already happened in week 2 so it'll happen again. Lmao..

Not a chance. I do enjoy some of the back and forth though... some.

Attention from opposing teams fan forums is just as good as attention from the opposite sex and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
I dont believe the key is to hit Russell Wilson, ya it always helps to put the hurt on the opposing QB, but i dont think we should form a game plan around it. Wilson is a stocky dude, and he already took a beating against the Rams, i wouldn't expect him to get easily flustered.

I would prefer the Niners come out on D and just play disciplined and straight up. The Seahawks dont seem to have a tremendous intermediate passing game, and seem to rely on chunk plays from play action or rolling Wilson out, i believe Seattle runs more play action than any team in the NFL iirc. Their play calling against the Saints was pretty good and the Saints got burned at times being too aggressive. I would rely on our secondary mostly and not get overly aggressive with up the field pass rush, or the blitz. The ability of Willis and Bowman to assess plays on short yardage downs will be a key factor imo. Communication among the secondary is the most important thing for this game.

On offense, i dont know what we're gonna do.

What you said is vey true, it also turns on a light bulb in a qbs head and will make them hesitant to enter a players area, and more nervous on the snaps to the side the player plays on. No matter how tough a qb is it happens to all QBs. Even Kap does it. The more nervous you can make them to one side the less alert they are to the opposite side.

I get it but don't forget that once the QB changes his posture and basically declares himself, he can't be hit like that. You can take advantage of opportunities but you can't manufacture them in this case. It's all on the QB and how quickly he makes the decision.

Last time i tried joining their forum they had tumble weeds rolling past by, that place is completely DEATH, no wonder why he trolls around here

which one/site ? I'm an adult looking for sports internet fun. I do not troll. The only trolling going on is the constant bad jokes because someone has a team name in their name. And most here are just doing a bunch of " my team is better nany nany" not whole lot of fun or objective football talk.

anywho....I just think Seattle is this years version of the 49ers last year. Explode the media hype and have a couple great games but ultimately wont win it all anyway.

I'm sure last year you all thought the Niners were a juggernaut but they ended up playing catch up in the end.

the Niners beat the Rams but it was only 23-13 with 3 SF field goals. If the Niners can beat Seattle they have to have better red zone success than that

You do know the only TD that the Rams scored was against pretty much 2's & 3rd stringers right? Niners DOMINATED that game from the get go DONT give me 3 field goal argument please save it for the rest of your posse, bitter Rams fan talkn up the Hags cuz your team is still a bottom feeder

This isn't the same Seahawk team when Holmgren/Hasslebeck led them to a super bowl.

These are the new CAWK suckers led by an old, ugly CHEATING whore (carroll). They don't know how to act like they "been there before" because they haven't... besides their QB, they are just a bunch of classless, cheating PUNKS on juice!!

hopefully none but if sherman gets trucked and bites his tongue off i wont complain

If that happens to that buff transvestite ("bites tongue off"), I hope it gets trampled on the field into bits n pieces so he can't sew it back together... no one wants to here IT talk!!
Is anyone else concerned that most of the players seem to be citing home field on Sunday for their primary reasons for confidence, kinda makes you concerned about what this team's mindset would be if we play a January game in Seattle.

LOL there you go again. The Rams have nothing to do with how SF will do against Seattle. And teams I like and or don't like have nothing to do with it either.

Its about SFs offense not their defense. And SFs offense has been sub par obviously. Against Seattle SF wont have the same excuses as against the Rams.

LOL at Rams posse...again, I am a sports fan not Rams gang member .

fascinating how you try to make it personal as though having ram in my name is supposed to somehow define who I am and what I think.

Can't argue with you there (in bold), and I think "Sub Par" is a understatement, 9ers offense has been frickin horrible against Seattle the past two meetings.
