I'm actually looking forward to seeing how our db's stack up against your full corps of recievers, manningham is back right? Will be a tough challenge if our D line can't get steady pressure on Kap. Wright had success against Graham, but VD is a different monster, without being able to double team him now, that could get ugly.

I'd like to see Boldin give him the Kenny Stills treatment . . . then watch him freak the f**k out about it
yup ...Someones gotta shut that big trap of his

You give Roman far too much credit.

Of all the teams in the NFL, the Seahawks very rarely double team any player.. That's the advantage of having big corners who jam the receivers for a good second or two at the line.

I'd like to see a 5 WR set too ...maybe some split backfield sets with James and Gore in the backfield ....we saw a screen pass last week, so hopefully some new wrinkles will surface on sunday

I wouldn't be surprised to see a lot of bunch formations. IIRC, Sherman has been burned on a few of those this year.

I like the bunch too ...especially when it can create some running room off tackle on the opposite side of the bunch formation

...and hold the entire length of the field without drawing a flag. You'll have to excuse me, my phone went potato and the Quote function is not working for me at the moment.

Maybe you should double team the NFL drug test. It's your #1 enemy right now.

VD will get his 2-3 catches but like all the great tight ends against us, we make sure they feel pain for it.. And then all of a sudden, they say f*** the ball, I don't want it anymore..
And the best part is that it doesn't take much of an effort to knock VD out of the game with a cuncussion. I think Hard bag should put double pads on him this game.

maybe he will be more of a help to the run game for the niners? vernon and boldin were the only two people to worry about in regards to our pass game so good teams(which the niners or the coaches seem to have no interest in beating) could bunch guys up and take away gore. now of course we could not run the ball vs the rams even with crabs back so maybe my theory means nothing but maybe they can not bunch up so much at the line because they have a good wide out to worry about. of course maybe the hawks are just tough vs the run with just four guys up front and unlike some teams, they do have to "stack" the box. if our horses**t OC would actually sell the run to set up the pass , maybe we could have success but that is not going to happen
