You know, I'd probably like Russell Wilson if it wasn't for Seahawk fans. Really I just want our defensive game plan to focus on his physical punishment in the pocket and on the perimeter.

Sadly, at times I am not proud of some of the Hawks players actions... And I hate defending the "dirty, juiced" quazi reputation. But Russell Wilson is more than enough counterbalance for an entire decade of misbehaviors. Regarding my fellow Seahawk fans, it seems as though you dont think we deserve such a gift in Russell Wilson.

So the "12th man" is paying to have a Seahawks banner flown over Candlestick Sunday.....

Do we need any more proof that these guys are obsessed with the 49ers? I swear playing us is like their Super Bowl.

that is because we are the two time defending conference champs and they want it for themselves. this year for whatever reasons , we were unable to defend it. it happens. you just hope to eek into the playoffs and then figure out how to play better and coach better vs good teams next year

Far as I know, flying a banner over the enemy's stadium doesn't make you champion of anything. You still have to go out and earn it.

Like last year, they (and some elements of the media) crowned them champs after they beat us.

And we all know how that went.

Being a fan or flying a banner has nothing to do with what happens on the field especially earning championship banners? They're flying this banner sunday to rub it in and get under your skin, and it appears to be working.

Unlike our fan base, at least the older portion, this championship contention thing is all extremely new to them, so the excitement is a bit more intense.

Were Niners fans this douchey on the cusp of their first championship run? There wasn't an Internet back then so hard to say.

i was just so stunned you did not know how to react. each step we took that year was so much fun because each step was to a place we had never been before. were we ever that young in our tight jeans, fu manchu mustache and 1979 berlinetta camaro? many of us could not believe we were there because we were so young in the secondary, running back by committee, a quarterback who would throw four picks vs dallas then come up with the big play.

Rumor is Wilson is a double agent. He's the one supplying the team with drugs, and if the team still makes the championship game, he's going to intentionally throw a pick six. Who knows. These are strange and mysterious times.

I know it doesn't -- that was exactly my point to the poster I quoted. And the banner bit is childish as was the brick thing.

There's funny and there's obnoxious. But you, being a 'Hawks fan, I wouldn't expect to agree.

Please. Go visit Seahawks.net. There's a new Niner thread every week. After that, have a look at the comments on any sports site that mentions the 49ers and the Seahawk trolls are out in full force.

Last, have a look around this website. There's a gang of Seattle fans here, far more than the amount of Niner fans you'll find on any Seahawk forum.

You say "creative" and I say "pitiful and attention starved with far too much time on their hands."

ALL OF THIS! Exactly what I've been saying for months now and its getting worse. Check out this article.

It has nothing to do with the Seahawks and yet there are more Seahawks fans commenting than 49ers fans. They are just tearing the 49ers apart on every level. I've never seen this from any other fan base. Hell the Rams fan base was by far and away better even during the greatest show on turf days so don't give me that "every fan base b******t".

As hawker stated. The whole banner thing is nothing more than trolls looking to get under 49ers fans skin and its working. Its still classless and antagonistic and for what reason? They seek validation for their team, I get that but they've gone far beyond that now. The rest of NFL and its fans will take notice soon enough. They'll get too cocky at some point and when the team starts losing and someday they will. The Seahawks fans will be humbled like no other. Here's to all the Seahawks fans that actually know enough to respect every opposing team regardless. As cocky as the Seahawks players are, its their fans that sorely need to be humbled. To all the ones that think their team is so much better than the rest can EABFD!

Completely agree with Hawker. It's not like people are dropping their life's savings on these things. To them, it's probably money well spent in an effort to 1) show the team some love and 2) piss off a rival fan base (which has worked as Hawker said).

The t-shirts sold to purchase the brick were sold and the money that was left over went to charity. Pretty lame indeed...

I can't really generalize about Niner fans based on your reaction because I doubt they're all as sour as yourself when it comes to practical jokes.

You do know the only TD that the Rams scored was against pretty much 2's & 3rd stringers right? Niners DOMINATED that game from the get go DONT give me 3 field goal argument please save it for the rest of your posse, bitter Rams fan talkn up the Hags cuz your team is still a bottom feeder

LOL there you go again. The Rams have nothing to do with how SF will do against Seattle. And teams I like and or don't like have nothing to do with it either.

Its about SFs offense not their defense. And SFs offense has been sub par obviously. Against Seattle SF wont have the same excuses as against the Rams.

LOL at Rams posse...again, I am a sports fan not Rams gang member .

fascinating how you try to make it personal as though having ram in my name is supposed to somehow define who I am and what I think.

NO THERE YOU GO AGAIN, my respond was towards your last post talkn bout the Niners barely squeezing out a Win Vs YOUR LAMBS, so tell me genius who instigated this post, Check yo self b4 you wreck yo self, im done with you Rams Boy.
WAIT, is Justin Smith not playing this week?
Though I am a Seahawks fan, I believe the banner and brick to be awesome for both teams. This rivalry is relatively new, and its growth is fun for the entire country. We are already having way more fun than we did with Oakland, and Denver.

"--DT Justin Smith (shoulder) did not practice Wednesday and is not expected to play against Seattle."
