Sherman won his appeal and played BETTER after the fact. You can say you're tired of his antics but you look stupid claiming he's only good because he "cheated" Be better than that. If you hate how they celebrate or hate the way Carroll chews his gum I can accept that but stupid comments about cheaters looks, well, stupid. Also claiming he's only good because he cheats and PI's on every call is lame. The guy is a stud. Michael Irvin did a bunch of film review on him and said he plays the way he is supposed to play and didn't pull the PI card.
I honestly wasn't a fan of Carroll when he came to Seattle but everyone in Seattle says he's a great guy who does a ton for the community. I think he's genuinely a good guy and obviously like Harbaugh a great coach. You don't have as much success as these two guys have had without being a great coach.

I think one huge key will be officiating. The NFL is always trying very hard not allow the officials to determine the game. Problem is in big games (post season - big reg. season games) they call games differently. What is a penalty in a standard game is not in a big NFL game. DBacks get away with much more holding as do Offensive linemen.
So at first look, it seems like they will allow a very rough style of play. But........then there was the Ram game, where officials called it real tight (lots of penalties) because they were worried about the game getting out of hand.
Well, if a game could get out of hand (no shortage of hate for each other) it would be this one. So, do they call loose or tight?
Tight - advantage Niners
Loose - advantage Hawks
(I think if the Hawks Dbacks able to mug the Niner receivers big advantage for them)

Do you know how many nfl players are on stuff? Most of the suspensions were adderall or for weed. Stupid yes. Make much of a difference on game day? Obviously no. When you say Seattle is better because they cheated it makes you look bad. Seattle is a damn good football team and its not because of adderall. Its ok to admit that. Hell the 49ers are a damn good football team who I hope we beat. I can admit that and so should you.

I hate when they call a game tight and as much as 49er fans claim Seattle cheats with pi's and physical play both teams are very physical, much more physical than most teams and play a very similar style. I want to see them play football. I don't want the db's called for every ticky tack foul. They call it tight which pisses us all off is my guess

2. Offensive line, they average a weight a 320 across the line: Okung, Riva, Unger, Breno, Ossai. These guys have an attitude and are ready to rumble.
3. Dan Quinn, new defensive scheme and a new attitude. Many players have spoken about the difference of Bradley and Quinn, you will see a much improved seahawks defense on sunday.
4. Speed, speed, speed. This is the fastest seahawks team in a while. Miller, Tate, Boldin, Harvin, Kearse. The newbies will be inexperienced but will provide a new dimension the seahawks haven't had, speed.
5. Time of possession: I think the seahawks could dominate the TIP stat in this one, the more the seahawks hold the ball and keep their defense fresh the better change they have to win.
I think the seahawks win rather easily...say 34-17?
OK, I don't know who you are but you don't talk like a 9er fan and you don't know enough about the Seahawks to be a fan of that team. I'm a Seahawks fan, who comes to this site to learn more about the 49ers, not brag about the Seahawks. But as a life long Seahawks fan, you are going to have to explain to me who "Riva" and "Ossai" are and when they replaced Sweezy and McQuiston/Carpenter as guards for the team? I expect a tough, hard fought, extremely physical game and I would be shocked by more than a FG difference in the score....and I'm not sure who gets that field goal! Here's to a good game, with no injuries. Also, please let it be decided by the teams, not by the officials!

You keep putting words in my mouth. When did I say Sherman is ONLY good because he cheats? I simply said that he cheats lol.
He has very good ball skills, great at route recognition. But the truth of the matter, without being able to hold/illegally contact guys on the majority of passing plays he would not be anywhere near the corner he is right now. He simply doesn't have the change of direction, speed, a fluidity in his hips necessary to hang with the quicker and faster guys. But when you let him press and ride guys down the field with those long arms, then he can have much success. Dude was a late round pick for a reason.
Why do you think Seattle can plug in all these late round/undrafted free agent dbs and they can excel and become elite? It has a lot more to do with the scheme and being coached up to hold and grab guys every play, then it does the skill level of the dbs. The NFL simply can't call flags every play, otherwise no one will watch. It has become recognized as seattles secondary play. And Pete Carroll has a history of cheating. So yeah, the cheating comment is stupid and has no merit, you're right...

he also talks about being a fast seahawks team or whatever, then the 1st name he mentions is miller.

yeah, i've noticed that also. I just thought he would take s**t, since he called P.Peterson a s**tty player for not being able to cover him, or some thing along those lines...can't remember correctly.

Sherman is almost always respectful in the media to opposing teams and individual players. Watch his press conferences after each game. He had nothing but good things to say after the first meeting with you guys.
Seattle doesn't play any more physical at the db position than San Fran does. I've watched almost all of both of their games. Last matchup as soon as the game was over the Seattle secondary only did so well because they obviously cheated. No they just played a great game as did the 49er db's did. If either passing game gets shut down the defense earned it, not because they cheated
