Yes we can have bad vibes about this being a "trap" game but we know the boys will be ready to treat this game as a playoff game. Boldin has been saying this after each game that we are playing for our playoff lives and if they play with that mindset they'll be just fine.

Yeah, I think it's more of a reverse jinx. Either way, it's putting out a bad vibe.

It won't surprise me if the 9ers come out flat on both offense and defense and the Bucs get up a score. But as long as they don't get panicky and start pushing things - which would play right into the Bucs turnover machine - I think the defense will get a grip on the Bucs offense and the 9ers offense will find a way to get going. IOW, I think the only way the Bucs win is if they somehow jump up two touchdowns on the 9ers early and then the 9ers offense starts forcing things and making turnovers in an effort to catch up. I still think the score will end up with the 9ers in the low 20's and the Bucs in the low to mid-teens.

Dashon can't cover worth a crap. Yeah, he can hit, but I betcha if Vernon runs streaks by him all day he'll never get touched.

Me too I just know Tampa is gonna come out firing off. I just hope the 49ers can weather the early storm and early 1pm kickoff east coast, then impose the will.

I'd say that's an exaggeration, Goldson is still a very good player, Pro-Bowl caliber, this is a very dangerous secondary, IMO if this team had a competent coach, they would be in the playoff hunt for sure.

Didn't say he wasn't. But it's a well known fact that he's a liability in coverage and he's been burned quite a lot this year alone.

It does have all the trappings of a game that might trip them up if they don't come prepared to play. But I think they will be OK. I'd like to see them jump out early on TB and never look back.
