Mike Garafolo ‏@MikeGarafolo Source says Percy Harvin still hasn't received clearance from doctors. Getting awfully late in the week. Doesn't look promising.

LOL You figure they'd stop setting themselves up like that.

#Seahawks are still waiting on WR Percy Harvin to get clearance for his concussion. He has not been cleared yet. And it's Friday. Bad sign.

Not at all, most hawk fans have only known they exist for a couple of years.

Sounds like Harvin is doubtful to be cleared.

Was there an update that I missed?

you havent missed anything. He still hasnt been cleared as of yesterday

They could be waiting until the last minute to clear him, or at least announce it. But the hits he took against the Saints, if would be shocked if he played. If he does play, the NFL I feel needs to question that decision because you have to think Seattle plays him because they think they can't win without him regardless if he's still concussed.

I know the niners are leaving for Seattle today (Friday), do they get practice time tomorrow (saturday) as well? I won't be surprised if Seattle doesn't offer them any fields to practice on, being how the fans are acting up there be baring 49er fans from their establishments..

Harvin is inconsequential either way. It's not like he tore up the field for them last week.

Totally agree - even if he does play, your physical defense will knock him out early anyway, and I don't mean in a 'cheap shot' sort of way, just in a he's not durable way.

Is there a timeline where I player can no longer play because he hasn't been cleared? For exampe, can they clear him to play 10 min's before kick-off?

I'm really scared for this dude, seems like every time he plays he's risking his life.

As long as hes cleared he can play, Its up to the Seahawks coaches to decide at that point if they want him to play after not having any practice all week

I've been a Hawks fan since the inception of the team. Sure, we don't have any trophies, but that doesn't make the team irrelevant, just as the drought years where the 49ers didn't win squat didn't make them irrelevant.

He didn't tear it up but he made some chunck yardage for them. Had he not gotten rocked, he could have gotten more yardage
Covers has the niners by 1

I don't think practice is a concern for the Hawks if he's cleared, I doubt it. He's a much bigger threat than any of their WR's. His speed can be an issue against the Niner D. I almost think Seattle is not announcing it until the last minute to keep the Niners thinking.
I would be very surprised if Harvin is cleared. He looked concussed after the first hit.
