just my 2 cents

6 time All-Pro, yet was only truly elite 3 times? Derp de derp!

Agreed. BY should be in but PW just didn't do enough. Pretty strong class also. Doubt he gets in this year.

As we know all to well from the webzone. Everyone's entitled to an opinion. Even if it's f**king stupid
Problem is the voters are absolutely f**king stupid. Last year sam mills was a finalist over willis...

Case closed.

I also heard one voter on art monk the year he went in.. his explanation was "I was sick of seeing art monk on the ballot so I voted him in." Meanwhile as result, someone deserving gets snubbed..

Tell me you didn't watch the 49ers during that time without telling me you didn't. When was Willis ever considered DPOY from someone who wasn't a 49ers fan? Even Willis admits injuries slowed him down during that time. Justin Smith was the best player on defense during Harbaugh and it's not even close

BY should definitely be in.
Willis first 4 years Vs Bowman's career which was basically 4 years and it's not even close. Not to mention Bowman only became the LBer he became cause he copied what Willis did on and off the field. If Terrell Davis can get in off of a few great years Willis deserves to be in.

They both should be when you look who else is in. See drew Pearson last year.. to put that in perspective here are a few people with better career stats than Pearson: cole Beasley, delanie Walker, ben watson & Jared cook..

Terrell Davis was a SB MVP, league MVP, 2x offensive player of the year. And was arguably the face of the Broncos during those back to back super bowl years. Willis's resume isn't even close to Terrell's despite playing longer. If Willis had a DPOY under his belt, or made a big play to win the game in SB47, maybe history would look at him different

No doubt there is politics involved. Marvin Harrison is in and he got a dude shot lol.

The irony. Clearly you became a fan in 2015. He was elected to SIX all-pro teams in 7 seasons. Not from fan voting, All-Pro.

2007 : 1st team All-Pro
2008 : 2nd team All-Pro
2009 : 1st team All-Pro
2010 : 1st team All-Pro
2011 : 1st team All-Pro
2012 : 1st team All-Pro
2013 : Pro Bowl
2014 : Injured in week 5 and ended up retiring

But he's not a HOFer? Can't take you seriously going forward.
