Andrew Luck isn't worthy?

Naaaa

Definitely nah....

Seems like the Hall letting anyone in nowadays. I thought the Hall was for legendary people only. Luck was good, not legendary though. P Willy was legendary when he played IMO. He needed to suck it up and play ten years.

Edit grammar

lol wasn't he joking?
Stats dont show everything.

The thing I remember about Patrick Willis is, he was like Jerry Rice after Jerry's rookie season, I never saw him make a mistake...like when he did make one random mistake, it stood out so much because he seemed like he was perfect all the time.

I'd see these other top MLBs that everyone wanted to compare to Patrick, I'd see them make mistakes here and there...sure they would make amazing plays, but watching them and comparing them to Willis.. it just stood out to me. And you would think by being a 9er fan, there would be more of a chance to catch mistakes from Willis compared to players outside of our team... but nope.. Patrick Willis was perfect 99% of the time.

If that's not a 1st ballot HOFer, I don't know what is.

If we'd won that Super Bowl the murderer P Willy would've been a HOFer
I've been to the HOF and I recall thinking as I walked through it that some of the guys in there probably shouldn't have been in there. I agree that it should be a really special place reserved for the true greats, not just guys that had good stats. Stats don't always tell the whole story. I've always felt that if I had to look up a guys stats he was a borderline HOF player at best. You don't have to look up stats for the true greats.

Passing numbers for QBs and WRs are all going through the roof because of rule changes and the subsequent changes in play calling. It's not uncommon to see a QB drop back 35-40 times or more. That was rare in the 70s and 80s. Montana's numbers pale in comparison to the numbers modern QBs are putting up but nobody is going to tell me that these guys are all better than Joe.

Maybe the Hall needs a special wing for the best of the best. The Legends Hall or something like that.

Pathetic. Thought there might be another 49er. but no. no reason. Like not voting for willie mays on first ballot.

Ronde Barber ---don't know
Chuck Howley --- Yes
Joe Klecko ---No
Darrelle Revis -- yes
Ken Riley -- don't know him
Joe Thomas -- yes
DeMarcus Ware -- yes

PWilly needs to teach 49ers how to tackle please and thank you.

They would probably suspend Willis 2 games for that hit right now.
America apparently ends once you pass Texas, and LA is an island

calling the representation for the West coast in the NFL a joke would be an understatement.

Well, yeah.

And nobody would be celebrating it today, either.

He lined up his helmet and speared him right in the face. I never much cared for shots like that even when they were legal.

I'll take Willis based on the fact that he never committed murder.
