I applaud Willis for retiring when he did. He went to a Super Bowl and did it all. The next few years were the 49ers dark years, how could anyone blame Willis for foreseeing this and retiring.

Exactly! He didn't want to go out like some of these guys who hold on way too long, like a Bobby Wagner. We all remember him as one of the elite LB's to ever play the game.
