Exactly. I don't understand why we wouldn't kick the tires on a guy that has excelled in a Zone scheme. I get that he's been hurt but he's under 30 and he would be a backup.

Maybe he doesn't want to play here...and gaskins or Harris can get cut in a heart beat, they needed to fill Haynes spot and he knows the team.

Yep Jed is so cheap that his franchise went into FA last year we were something like only 13 or 14 mill under the cap. Using your logic, you probably think he strong armed guys into retirement to save money.
